Within the navigation is there an icon that you push and it will tell you where the charge stations are.

Sure, swipe down to bring the navigation to the lower panel. From the lower panel, press the magnifying glass and you should see icons for food/drink, charging and parking. When you press the charging icon it shows you the nearby chargers

By default, I believe it only displays Electrify America sites; you may need to toggle that off so it shows all providers. Additionally, some may be missing from the database. I've personally visited an FPL Evolution site in Lake City, FL that I had to find with Google Maps instead. That site handshook with the car just fine so I don't think it was intentionally hidden.
