My new Gravity.

What is wrong with the images, they look fine on my computer.
how many images do you see? i see 1 from the first post and another in the second post but OP definitely uploaded more than 10 images. you can tap on those links to see individual images.

I have the same issue with the pics. Mobile Edge (Chromium based) on Android 16.

When I click through, I'm unable to zoom out to see the whole image.

I'll try it on desktop.

I, too am using Safari (on MacBook and Vision Pro). The first and last images appear inline, but all the images in between are URLs, requiring me to individually click on them to see each photo. the pics are super clear; I just think others (myself included) expected to see them appear in-line in the post, as either thumbnails or full res images, as opposed to verbose URLs to images. Regardless, clicking on each URL individually, gives us what we want -- the best car porn ever haha!! Thrilled to see vehicles getting delivered. Helps kill the time waiting for my own GDE to be delivered.

The excitement of finally having possession of the car must be strong, so thank you for taking a moment to share these images with us. I can never get enough.

Seems like the files, since they are large, get truncated into links instead of displaying the full images.

Thanks for the pictures.. Looking at the color samples at a Lucid studio, the Tahoe leather looks too orange, the color in your picture looks nice. What is your opinion on the Tahoe color?
It's more baseball glove brown than orange. I love it. I don't like dark interiors. So I always go for different colors when I can. My favorite of all my cars is the Pimento Red in the Range Rover Sport. I already have white in my Teslas. So I opted for the other only light color. Tahoe.

when I was posting. They all show up inline. Not sure why they end up being links instead. Sorry all. They were already too large, so I had to export them into smaller one before posting. I just drop them into the message window, and they all show up inline for me.

Awesome pictures!
No need for apology.

Clicking or tapping on a link can ruin a person's day. NOT!

HOW IT DRIVES!!!

OMG! Not to make you guys jealous, but I'm glad I got it before you. It's the BEST SUV I've ever owned, and I've owned quite a few.
It beats my Cayenne S in the handling dept, I feel like it beat the Range Rover Sport in luxury interior build (wife disagrees). This weekend was the first time I've driven any Lucid vehicles. How the hell did I not buy an Air before this? I'm assuming the Air Dream Edition will be better handling car than the Gravity just based on physics. Makes me want to think about a used Saphire in a few years. LUCID got game!! I'm now team Lucid for driving. Before this, the Taycan Cross Turismo 4S was my fav of the fleet. But I think I'll be taking this out on the weekends now to do some fun drives. I kid you not, this things drives just as fun as the Taycan in the backroads and the canyons. I'm amazed how well they got the suspension tuned. Bumps are nothing to this car. It glides over them. I have a usual weekend route when I go driving. Took my NEWTON out the same route. so good. I did not get to try launch mode, because the weather was so good, everybody was out driving. tons of cars, so don't have a clean clearing for launch mode shenanigans.

Maybe I don't have enough seat time. But I don't think I feel any difference between Swift and Sprint. Smooth was very comfy. I was driving windy roads while the chair was massage my buttocks (man, that didn't come out right). So fun. Did I mention it was fun car to drive. Feels way smaller. I also have RWS on my Taycan, feels about the same for turning radius. I find myself taking corners faster and with more confidence on the Gravity vs the X. I just finished a round trip from NorCal to SoCal for kids graduation last week, and everybody in the car was complaining about the Plaid's suspension. I changed it to comfort and didn't make much difference, in hindsight, quick turning maneuvers feels like driving a couch now compared to the Gravity. The Gravity has that mill out of a single block of steel feeling, just like my Porsche. Like everything is connected and I can feel or control anything. If I see marble on the ground and going 95mph, I can avoid it (ok, maybe not. Unless I give it to the Stig). Everything feels so precise and connected, whereas the X feels disconnected. Maybe the suspension on the X is so bad, that it makes the Gravity feel so good. My Highland Model 3 Perf is pretty good with the suspension setup. I think this is also my 1st 3-chamber air suspension setup. I really only did 1 day of flogging it. Driven BMX X6 Sport, Range Rovers, Porsche Cayennes, I don't think they can compare. I'm that in love with this car. I like fast cars, and I like to drive fast. If it's not for Section 179, I would be buying 911s or some cheap mid-engine Italians. For SUV class, I don't think there's much out there. the Urus is not an EV, nor the DBX. The Bentayga and Cullinan probably best in poshness.

Butt dyno, it's not as fast as the Plaid. The initial accleration is not there, but it's gradual and just keeps pushing feeling is good. This fits in perfectly for what I need on a road-trip car. I liken it to a real GT with room for 6 adults and their luggage. Wife don't want a 2-seater (although I'm still waiting for Roadster 2.0), otherwise I think I would be driving a AMG GT.

Sorry, I'm jumping all over the place. So excited to type this up. :)
OMG, the quietness. I sat and driven a Cullinan. this is up there I tell you. I shut off the AC, and sat in the car in silence for a minute, then I can see why they have Santuary mode. lol. I park the car in some rolling hills, turn on Sanctuary and just say, 'damn, this is a nice car'.

I'm not sure any SUV under $200k beats this. The Cayenne GT might, I think the Urus is a little too much look at me. I love the DBX, but don't like the AM electronics, heard the latest is no longer MB software, so maybe they have changed. I was on the list for an Eletre, but decided against it because of the lack of dealership and distance from dealership (which I might have to go often). I originally didn't bother with the Gravity either, was going to content with rumored refreshed X that's coming (well that turn out to be a bust). But with the NACS support, Dream Edition, it got me interested again. so it was either refresh X or the Gravity, and I need one for this year's 179 write-off. Also was perfectly happy to wait till end of year for my actual ordered car, but this one just pop up on Friday evening. So here I am. All giddy about it.

The driving dynamics is so good, I'm going to be OK with all the following minor (to me) issues...
Auto off turn signals (sorry, I love this on the Tesla), maybe a future software add.
No Apple Car play yet.
the wireless charging's not working, screen says schedule a service.

AC unit has a bit of a whine when running. if any music is playing, you won't hear it, but with audio off, it's kind of annoying.
Seats are not aligned when fold flat. one side higher than the other. 2nd row. 3rd row similar issue when folded into sub-trunk.
cockpit display is super reflective. I can see my dress shirt reflection on the way to work this morning (didn't notice over weekend), probably not an issue, but I would imagine somebody would have seen this during QC and find a solution.

Seat adjustments issues (for my 5' 1" wife), somebody in the forum mentioned his wife also have a time getting comfortable driving position. My wife's feat would dangle when tapping on brake pedal if the seat is adjusted to her proper driving position. If she lowers it and her heel touches floor when pressing brake pedal, she can't see over the cockpit display to gauge distance of the car in front. She's stick to driving the X till I can figure this out (maybe there's no solution to this), I was going to try seat cushions this weekend.

UX - redraw issues when switch to Seat massage/settings menu. it has a delay from the home dashboard, intermittent.

NACS charging not working over the weekend, SA says it's fixed now, so will try tonight.

Issues with Tesla Gen2 Wallcharger. Works fine with Tesla EVSE. Will figure this out later, not the end of the world.

HUD.... this I think might be the reason those GTs are not getting them. Not sure if the supply issue is legit, but whatever I'm seeing, should be a stop sale issue... let me explain.

the HUD itself is fine, works, just minimal info right now. What happened this morning on my way to work. When the sun shines into the car at a particular angle. The glass on the HUD reflects back into the windshield. Thus causing a whiteout spot directly in front of me, if just move my head slightly,I can see fine. But I anticipate this can cause a lot of accidents if I'm driving, suddenly blinded by the sun or just partially blinded, and can't react to traffic in front of me. The way it reflects, makes me think that PDI did not remove a plastic film or something, it has that bent plastic expanded look to the reflection. I didn't have time to look for any plastic covering. Maybe it's easily fixable.
The other annoying thing, when it's early or late in the day, when the sun is not that bright. The brightness of the HUD's background, as in the actual display itself is showing through, so I see a white square in front of me, it's faint, but it's distracting, it's like those old LED TVs with edge backlighting. you turn off the light and the movie scene is dark, all you see is grey color because the back lighting can't go black. this is the same effect with a white background. I think if I turn off the HUD completely, this will go away.

other little cosmetic things that will be fixable once I bring it back to the service center.

Overall, a solid car. No regrets on such big purchase. I'm really hope the HUD thing is just a plastic film issue, otherwise, this can turn into a big issue for others. Also the windshield is quite reflective, it picks up the reflective edges of the housing as well from the sun. so metallic or shiny parts will reflect into windshield. I can see the honeycomb shape of the AC outlets (maybe) on the middle of the windshield that you can't see from the dash.

If you made it all the way down here, congrats, I'm done.

Will be out to do more driving.

Thanks for posting up the detailed first impressions! I’m coming from a Taycan as well, so this is OUTSTANDING to hear about it’s drive experience. I kinda got that feeling on my longer 2nd test drive but it is awesome to hear this confirmed! Also, I noticed the HUD reflection too on my test drive in Nashville. It was mid day and the sun hitting straight down was definitely causing a reflection that was a bit distracting. I’m wondering if some (not so legal, but maybe argue its a safety thing! 😂) tint on the windshield would help remedy this. Seems a bit of an oversight to miss something like that. You got me so pumped now to get mine later this summer (hopefully, who knows…). Congrats and enjoy!!

Service will fix this for you. They’re supposed to be aligned and flat.

Did you get a chance to try out Dream drive pro? What’s your take on it?
DreamDrive Pro works well in the few times I’ve used it. It actually suggests when you should change lanes also which is different over the Air. Lane change works like the Air.

Thanks for the detailed report.
I'm holding out for the HUD, so I'm very interested in learning if Lucid can fix this problem for you.
We have another EV with HUD and I've not seen any reflection or distraction.
