I had a minor accident in August 2024 with my Air Pure AWD. The damage was to the back right corner, but for some reason, the authorized shop messed with many parts of the car in different areas. As a result, they ended up breaking or ruining multiple components, including the charge port.
On my way back from a road trip, the car basically started going crazy with warning lights. I got a drive system failure, a charge port failure (the charge port wouldn't open), a wiper failure (the wipers wouldn't turn off, even when the car was off), and an auto high beam failure (they wouldn’t stay on, even manually).
To make a long story short, I discovered that all of these issues happened because the shop had done something with the charge port and didn't reinstall a seal or something, which caused moisture to enter. They claimed that only the charge port was affected and said they would need to replace it.
Overall, my experience with this shop was horrible, as they ruined many components, so I don't really trust them; and to make matters worse, many times they gave the car back claiming everything was ready, but I would find out the issues myself. I basically wanted to ask what other hardware could be affected by moisture getting into the charge port. I am worried more essential components like the battery could be affected. I would really appreciate any help. Thank you
