Mobile Connector vs Chargepoint or Juicebox or blah!

Since our peak electric rates are now 81 cents Per kW
OMG, are you kidding? 81 cents per kWh? Are you sure?

I believe EA only charges 48 cents per kWh in CA. Same in CO.

In Colorado, without TOU pricing, the rate is 14 cents per kWh. If we use TOU, which sucks, the 3p-7p peak is 27 and off peak is 11 cents. The BEV deals here get me free CP charger and $50 a year if I "agree" to charge from 9pm to 6am. Easy.

You are lucky. Summer TOU pricing in San Diego is 15 cents per kWh after midnight. Peak hours are indeed 83 cents in summer, 48 cents all other hours. The scheduled charging in the car works great for turning it on at 12:01am.

I like to pump my solar into the grid and get paid 80+ cents a kW instead of using it to charge the car. I’ll charge my car after midnight using the natural gas produced electric. :)
