I just got my Pure yesterday with a mobile charger and I am curious whether owners keep it in the bag between charges or have it fixed to a wall. My plug is about 10ft from the charging port and I was thinking about draping the cable over hooks. The mobile connector seems a bit heavy to leave it permanently dangling - does anybody leave it connected? Thanks

It isn't good to plug in and unplug the connector to the 14-50 outlet on the wall regularly; they aren't rated for that many insertions, and will eventually become loose. Back when I used that cable for daily charging, I left it hanging on the wall of my garage except when going on long road trips when I thought I might need it.

It eventually because unreliable, and investigation showed that my electrician had used a cheap consumer grade 14-15 outlet that was now overheating. Rather than just replace the outlet, I had a hardwired "charger" put in, and chose a ChargePoint. I now carry the cable in my trunk just in case I ever need it while away from home. I do a lot of driving in remote rural areas and know if I'm ever in a jam, I can go to an RV park for a boost to get me to a real charger.

Welcome Kevan! Even though I agree with all that maractwin said, I still use my mobile charger, plugged in continually, for the last two years. I have mine draped on hooks but you may be interested in mounting hardware discussed in this thread. Good luck!
