Gravity Grand Touring
Hi all, new to the forum. I just received my Gravity Grand Touring and was curious about other people's experiences with the back seat. I searched the forums and haven't seen any posts about this so starting a new thread. I have the 7 seat configuration, and the middle bench seat sliding motors are very loud. They also make a grinding and popping noise as they move. The right seat seemed to get stuck going backwards, and could not reach the same rearward position as the left side. I was able to put some gentle pressure on the right while toggling the switch backwards. which then made a very loud pop, but it could then reach all the way back,. It initially got stuck when I tried to move it forward, but again with some gentle pressure, it finally got unstuck and could move forward. Now the right and left seem to be moving the same distance forwards and backwards now. Not sure if I broke something (loud pop) when trying to get the right to move as far back as the left. Anyone have the same issue? Thanks.

It’s a known issue, I think it was Consumer Reports that mentioned it in their review too. Very loud, barely functional seat motors.

Gotcha. Didn’t see that review. Hopefully there’s a fix for this.

Several posters have written about having their back seats replaced. I'd take it to service and see what they are saying now that they've seen more than just a few of these

Appreciate all the responses. My service was supposed to be 12/15, but got moved to 12/29 due to the technician having to be away next week. Will keep everyone posted. Thanks!

Mine is noisy, like, weirdly noisy and much louder than any car I've ever owned before, but no pops and no functionality issues. Yet. I haven't used it a ton.
