Maybe time for a new thread for owners who report *no* problems, (or at least, very few)

Fog lights don't work? Maybe? Can't get them to turn on when parked or stopped (so someone outside can look). The control shows 'on', but the lamps are dark. Maybe light only under certain conditions? Tried in a dark garage.

Where are you looking? Gravity has only a rear fog light.

I see that in the manual now. Elsewhere it says, somewhat misleadingly,

"In regions that require the vehicle’s lights
to be on even during the day, the
daytime running lights will automatically
turn on when the vehicle is powered, and
will turn off if the headlamps or the fog
lights are on."

Usually this means actual forward-facing fog lights.

I do know that if you turn on the rear fog light, the headlamps will turn on.

It is misleading, but at least in the US, there are no fog lights in the front.

I took delivery of my GGT on 3/31. It's not a daily driver so I've only gotten to drive it more yesterday and today. So far so good. Knock on wood there hasn't been any real issues.

The only thing that got weird was the HUD one random time. I've read about the issues but overall it's useable for me. The felt insert is janky to me. I noticed it was not stuck flush but had no idea what it was doing but now I know. I'll have to get it to stay flush with tape

I don't love the way the wipers clean the windshield. Nothing wrong but I hate how the water just stays on the windshield.

The seat controls to extend the seat cushion makes no sense to me being in the massage controls but not a physical button on the seat. So dumb.

These are just nuisance things. So many more features that I need to get acquainted with when I go a longer drive. Really happy with the car so far. I'm just 70 miles in though lol

Regarding the seat controls; in software update 3.4.0/3.4.1 some seat controls were removed from the center display.

I agree the wipers are a disappointment. The scatter spray from the "washer" up above where the wipers reach and it drys on the window blocking the nice view with spatter.

We'll see how they handle snow

They’re not great in snow. They try to use it to melt snow in a weird “deice” mode. The first time I had wiper spray like this was Tesla and I hated it and I don’t love the Gravity either but it’s fine…

Everyone should copy the Polestar 2's wiper spray system. The best in all of the cars I owned.

No car can be perfect. I’d take the Gravity over any Polestar any day - as an example. A couple of better features here and there are bound to be the case.

I sincerely empathize with owners having issues with their Gravity.

However, in an effort to provide a complete perspective on Gravity ownership, I feel the need to post here again.
Maybe I have a unicorn, but my Gravity continues to provide me with complete joy everytime I drive it.
Other than a broken NFC reader (replaced within months of purchase), followed by a second replacement months later, and a rear window damaged from my own doing, my ownership experience has been great.

No fob or entry/exist issues.
No DDP2 issues.
No audio/media issues.
No start up issues.
No charging issues.
No regressions in performance after sw updates.
Everything just works.

This post is intended to provide an incentive for other owners having a great ownership experience, to continue coming to this forum.
I don't visit as much anymore.
Mostly when there is a software update.

Hoping for many improvements to those owners continuing to experience issues.

Ours continues to be pretty much flawless, aside from the minor things I’ve previously posted about. It needs one service visit to address those (a missing clip, that kind of thing) but otherwise it’s been really solid.

My wife has one bad fob, but we’ll replace that and be on our way. My fob works great.

Same. From a bug standpoint the only thing that is persistent is the face camera randomly disabling and still having some fob issues but apart form that, it just works and would have been extremely happy if the car was delivered with this software day 1.

The HUD is a different story but I wouldn't put that in the bug category but more "not ready for prime time"

Last update introduced some issues that I think are now pervasive among some owners (random unresponsive screens, black outs etc). I'm not sure if I'm just learning to live with it or if it's getting better. I find an inverse correlation with the frequency my wife drives the gravity with my own positive perspectives (she's less forgiving with issues).

My Gravity is pretty solid too. 3.5.1 caused issues with lock and unlock on approach to the vehicle & the FOB and after two weeks of issues, (reboots, batteries, confirmed software version on the FOB's were current) the FOB started working normally and have done so since and the car locks and unlocks. I wish I could explain how that happened.

I find the HUD to be ok. I get why they designed it different from traditional HUD with AR in mind. It's not perfect but it still worked. I look at the HUD for speed and turns more than I look at the screen.

My main issue is a little rattle/vibration from the door or b pillar. I'd love to get it checked out but don't want to take up service time from others that have bigger problems.

I'm at 1200 miles and I love the car so far.

I feel a little guilty to have not experienced many of those issues. Only once has the fob/phone not been detected for about 60 seconds, DDPro does not work at all but probably because I have the "no defrost heater" safety warning (under repair). Otherwise, it just does what I want it to do. (I hope I am not jinxing myself after the 2.9 update)

Aside from an oil leak from the front drive unit discovered three days after delivery (completely fixed by service), mine has been solid. Since 3.5.1, I have only seen a couple of very minor glitches that did not affect the operation of the car. No key fob issues. 3300 miles as of today. My wife and I love it.

Our '26 GGT, Black Beauty-2, was delivered to us in Southern Oregon on April 16th. Our Gravity has every option, including the towing package. The only issue we had was when the Frunk took 2 tries on the fob to open. A text to Rocklin CA Service, was responded to with specifying an easy adjustment. The Frunk has been rock solid ever since. The key fob, doors, HUD, and all else has been everything we hoped for, with absolutely no issues. This is by far the best vehicle I/we have ever owned, and causes me to think of ways to justify my many excursions in it.
I recently tweaked my back, and spent several late nights in the garage, in the Gravity with the seat heater and massaging on, with the serenity scenes and sounds. My back recovered so quickly, perhaps this therapy should be patented.

We also own a 2024 Mustang Mach E GTPE, which we also love. My wife now claims her, and has named her White Lightning! Other vehicles we have owned include: Corvette, Porche, BWW, Mercedes, Audi, Acura, and more. We have loved many of these vehicles, but the Gravity shines above them all. I've followed the Lucid Owners Forum since mid-2023, reading it at least twice a day. This vehicle is the perfect size, and only about a foot longer, 6 inches wider, and 6 inches taller than the Mach E. Amazing when you think about the packaging of this remarkable SUV/wagon/minivan.

I appreciate this Forum, and have learned so much from it!

I got to go now, 'cause I have to drive somewhere, anywhere...

Glad to hear you were able to fix the frunk. I have this issue too but haven't had a reason to go into a SC to get it fixed. I'll wait until there is something more meaningful to go it. So far, mine has been solid other than a door/B pillar rattle.
