Maybe time for a new thread for owners who report *no* problems, (or at least, very few)

Not as much as my maturity and wisdom which say:
"Show 'em a little somethng and then walk away. They got nothing for you, but don't know it and will keep trying".

I slowed up and that Bmer tried it again.
Same outcome before my exit came up.
I thiink you've ripened just fine

If by saying that many people can now report “NO” or at least “very few” problems, you mean “mechanical problems”, then I would tend to agree. My GGT was delivered right before Thanksgiving and has only had two minor mechanical issues. Second row seat will not fold forward without a little assistance from me and on just a couple of times, the frunk has done the double try to unlatch. Everything else - mechanically - is great.

As for software, I would highly doubt that very many people (if any) are having ZERO software issues. Those who claim to not have software issues are either very forgiving of issues or have not driven their Gravity long enough. I guarantee that if driven more than a couple weeks or more than a couple hundred miles, everyone will have some software issues.

On my GGT with 3.3.20, DDP is a 50/50 proposition. Sometimes it engages perfectly. Then next time it takes numerous taps of DD button before it will engage, then next time it will engage fine but within 5 minutes will get DD errors and disengage. Another day start up to drive and no audio and it took a reset to get it going again. Another day right mirror stayed in the down position after backing out of garage (had to hit dash mirror reset button.)

Periodically get the auto headlight error message and a couple other miscellaneous errors. Couple days ago when showing off car to friend, pulled up Tidal and got horrible crackling sounds and had to switch to Sirius to get it to go away. Then after having fob work perfectly for many weeks, I go to show car off to my brother and fob refuses to work, shake it -nothing, try fob buttons - nothing, finally used key card and car opened and started fine. Fob has been working great since, so not battery issue.

None of these issues are game ending and most go away at next car start. It is just that there are way too many software issues still going on (even post 3.3.20) that I have a very, very hard time believing that people are driving Gravity with no software issues.

Well I'll toss in that I'm definitely one owner that has been driving and can report almost no software issues so far. I have had very, very few (and minor) software glitches in hundreds of miles of driving over the last week+. My fob has worked every time so far (I use it as a fob though, I haven't enabled the auto lock/unlock on approach setting). I haven't had any of the warnings other people have reported, just one that the DDPro sensors were blocked but at the time the window also fogged up so I think it was actually a true warning at the time.

DDP has worked fine to enable and I've used it every time I've been on the freeway, once I had to hit the X 3-4 times to get it to turn off but that was it.
The passenger seat reclined fully once when I was getting in but pressing the restore button to return it to my wife's saved position fixed it. It hasn't done it again since then.
The rear collision warning was stuck on when getting in the car once but a quick reset fixed it.
I got the "sleepy driver" warning when sitting in the car in Park waiting for my wife who ran into a store to pick something up quick.

Will I get more as I drive more? Maybe, but so far my experience has been very good with the hardware and software. Our prior Model X (2019 LR) was far, far buggier when it was new (and was a buggy PITA the entire time we had it).

I'm sorry that you have experienced so many issues. We haven't had most of the problems you've described, and we're in the middle of 3-day road trip in the mountains. The only issue we've run into is that in the morning sometimes Dream Drive is not available for a few minutes because sensors are blocked. Someone else on the forums noticed that the glass that the front cameras are behind has condensation on it, so the cameras can't see anything. It gets defogged after a few minutes, and DD becomes available again for the rest of the day.

And thus we have the conundrum of Lucid software issues. We are all being conditioned to ignore and try to be patient with the various issues but how do we know when something is just software that “hopefully” will be corrected in an upcoming OTA. Or is my DDPro issue possibly hardware related. There are reports from numerous people of having to have their steering wheel replaced due to non-responsive pads. My right side pads work fine. The left side works most of the time but periodically acts up. So is it software or is it hardware?

We just did a 2-day road trip from California to Oregon. Our software issues, since 3.3.20:
  • Intermittent redundant errors
    • Sensors blocked, DreamDrive unavailable
    • Redundant lighting system failure
That's it. The sensors aren't actually blocked. The redundant lighting system isn't actually failing. DreamDrive was available the whole time. Nothing was required to clear those warnings/errors.

I dno, ours... just works.

Fair, but you can definitely set up a service appointment (mobile or not) and find out.

Yeah, I am going to be out of country most of February, so if by the time I get back and Dream Drive is still having issues (as in OTAs have not fixed it) then will schedule service. Also then have them look at the sticky second row seat and occasional sticky frunk. Trying to be a little patient on service since I know they are swamped right now.

I've experienced little to no software issues.

But maybe that's because then I don't use DD Pro. i'm just not interested in these self-driving systems -- they are all complete scams. The end result of every single one (Tesla or otherwise) is that I end up having to try harder and pay more attention than i would when NOT using them, so what is the point? It's just a bunch of extra nags that save me precisely nothing in terms of effort or attention. Zero point.

In my experience, DD Pro is actually the most reliable experience in the Gravity.

12,100 miles, probably the most (or close to it) on Gravity so far. On software 3.3.20 and since then, VERY few problems. I have over 1500 miles on this software version now. I am sorry yours and others are still giving major issues but this is not the story for everyone. Lucid still has some real work to do, as EVERYONE should be having little to no problems. Until they get there, we should all keep them accountable.

Same here with the software issues.

DD Pro: perhaps not a scam since you do get what is advertised and are not required to pay for the feature if you don't want it.
There are some owners who are not getting what is advertised, but that is due to unintentional hardware/software issues that can be resolved.

Good point about the attention required when using the features.
I use the features, but the trust level will forever be a work-in-progress; there's a reason for the disclaimers in the owner's manual.

I view it like icing on a cake that I'd eat w/o the icing, but enjoy dipping in the icing now and then.
I use it now and then just to make sure it's working and to attempt improved efficiency in my use of it.
Also, being perfectly honest with myself, FOMO in full effect.

My GGT was delivered 10/16... My experience has been great and believe this is the best car I have driven. Over the holidays with the kids all home it was delightful to have the seven seats, the luxury, and the performance the GGT offers and the whole family + dog were pretty happy with several remarks about the 1st class cabin experience. Yes I have had my share of the bugs but opted not to take them too seriously or get upset by them even given the price point. Lucid have been great to deal with both via the phone and at the SC. The OTA's have demonstrated progress, Lucid may not be there yet but it is clear they are headed in the right direction. I have also watched a couple of recent reviews and observed the focus appears to be on petty complaints, where if they took the time to review the manual they would have found the solution. If all they can discuss is petty issues then perhaps Lucid has hit it out of the park...

Happy New Year to all!

Glad you're enjoying your GGT.
Same here.

When all the complaints are petty ones with answers in the manual, that is when Lucid has hit it out the park.

One day, but for now, some issues require more than the manual.

Wishing you continued enjoyment of that GGT!

These are the only errors I also get. Usually, if it is raining or snowing outside, when I come to a stop, "Sensors Blocked" error comes up. I also get 'High Beam Assist' error sometimes. Otherwise, mechanically perfect with the two software snags at this point. Also, fob is also working perfectly at this point.

Same, minus the high beam assist error - haven’t seen that one on this version.

I've noticed the times I've had the "sensors blocked" error it was always when I was stopped and had a car pull up behind me with headlights on at night. It was starting to make me wonder if it was just something about the glare of the headlights, especially as after I noticed it I started paying more attention and it was a bigger vehicle (pickup truck or large SUV) that stopped pretty close to me.

Not saying it's the only reason for the error but, for me at least, it seems to most often be the cause of the message.

I took delivery on 12/30. 850 miles. No significant issues. Key and cards always work, few random alerts always clear themselves in minutes, funk opens and closes, no squeaks or rattles.Only two issues:
1. Right rear door will only open with mechanical override.
2. Lane change assist stopped working after 3.3.20 update.

So as the guy who started this thread, I feel obligated to report on a problem that I didn't even know I had. I called Customer Service, asking for a second fob, and another keycard (long story, not that interesting, but needed them). Mobil service came by to link them to the car, and turns out that I have the dreaded center console wiring problem. Never noticed it, since I never use the keycard myself, but the tech discovered it when trying to synch the keycard to the car. So they'll be picking up the car sometime next week to take care of the problem.

Delivery yesterday. All packages, purluxe interior. All the big stuff works as expected so far. I've hit only minor problems:
  • 120V outlets don't work: "schedule service"
  • Fog lights don't work? Maybe? Can't get them to turn on when parked or stopped (so someone outside can look). The control shows 'on', but the lamps are dark. Maybe light only under certain conditions? Tried in a dark garage.
  • Trim between the 3rd row seats, behind, broke when stowing the seats. Apparently it was loose and got one of the seats in the face on the way down. Superglued.
