Lucid won't unlock unless I turn on my iphone's screen

Yes, mobile key is slower for sure.
I too have to take the phone out of my pocket and wake it up to have the car “see” me in a timely fashion. It will eventually see me if I leave the phone in my pocket but it takes at least 5x longer.

Apple turns off the Bluetooth radio if your phone is not moving, to preserve battery life. If you “walk with a swagger” or just hold your phone while you walk (as an example), the car will likely unlock much faster.

You don’t need to wake the phone up. Just move it around.

Unfortunately that hasn’t worked for me. I literally have to unlock my phone most times.

Yup same. Appears to have something to do with iOS 18. Bluetooth goes to sleep more maybe to save battery life on the phone and hence the car doesn’t get the signal either. Waking the screen up immediately triggers the doors to open
