Automotive 4D radars have been able to to this for some time, in a manner similar to lidar. I don't know which types of radars are used by Lucid vehicles.What I mean is that radar "sees" everything, but it cannot know where it is left, right, up, or down relative to your position. It generally just knows that objects are in front of you at relative speeds and distances, but not spacial positioning. Radar beams are not easily steerable, like camera & lidar, so relative positioning is difficult.
