So you can do this cumulatively instead of all at once?

(I'm not looking forward to having to put two cars on the road for a half hour each when just the right conditions present themselves.)

That was my experience, however YMMV. I didn’t go out of my way to get 30 minutes on the highway and it calibrated itself.

Got 3.6, did reboot, now have DD warning ??

Here's the part of the release notes that I think everyone is referring to that involves an error message/warning until calibration is completed.
Your message/warningis somewhat different than what's quoted in the notes, but it's possible the need for calibration is still the culprit.

I think this is from some sort of shared problem with whatever service all ADAS uses. For example, my Tesla and my Lucid slam on the brakes and set the car to 30mph on the freeway in the same spot. So that issue is brand agnostic. I'm inclined to think its something with the information ADAS is being provided by whatever means it is provided.

My suggestion is to change the setting on the car to alert of the new speed detection while on the highway and you confirm the change in speed vs letting the car slow down on its own when it detects a slower speed

Key is noticeably better than even on 3.5.7 which was already an improvement.

Anyone else’s HUD get slightly lower in this update? The new highest setting is lower than what I had set before. Not too bothersome but something I’ve noticed.

Drove around 60 miles tonight in Atlanta area with 3.6.0 on I-85, hands free driving is pretty stellar i'd say , doing timely lane changes even on conservative more. Calibration took longer than I thought , maybe about 10 miles, as I was really curios to turn in on ,but the vehicle kept saying that it needs calibration.
I am not sure if changing DD mode to ACC and back to Drive Assist fixed it or it just coincided with the moment calibration finished ,but I saw a new icon in the HUD that looked like hands free steering wheel and vehicle was driving in hands free mode afterwards. There was a moment where a car on the right of us was merging into our lane and Gravity (while in hands free more) literally yielded, slowing down a little, that was impressive and executed very smoothly.
HUD might be a tad lower ,but I readjusted it and it was back to normal position. Good news is that there's no blinding HUD glow anymore at least there was none for me during sunset hours.
Loved adaptive drive beam on more rural roads in GA, it activates a bit earlier than on my former E-Tron or my spouse's current Tesla (around 26 mph vs 35+ on E-Etron),but is working good for me.

I had mentioned before 3.6 had fixed the detection of stopped cars. Well, not so fast. It certainly has improved a lot, but just a few minutes ago, the car would slam in a car stopped a red light, had I not intervened pretty late. It just completely ignored the car there.

That's frustrating, because the car has multiple front cameras, a radar and a lidar sensor. But it's still only reliable tracking a moving object.

So be careful out there. This is still happening.

Yeah, "Live View" in Lucid app is working again!!!
It broke for me in v3.5.1.

Mine is still broken regardless of whether my iPhone is on WiFi or not. Will try turning off the car WiFi and see if that helps.

I’m happy to report that live view is working for me, as well, in all 4 combinations of WiFi being on/off for my iPhone and Gravity.

It’s fine, but my Gravity is in my garage with nothing exciting going on - just a stationary view. I’ll have to do more extensive testing in the coming days/weeks as I’m out and about.

so is mine, still the quality just tanked for some reason a few updates ago, I assume they overtuned it to faster stabler connection and sacrificed bitrate and quality

Had a chance to drive around for a bit earlier. My DDP is still "temporarily disabled". I did notice that key now opens and locks the car about 3-6ft further out than before which is a change...thought it does seem as reliable as the 3.5.7 update.

I did notice a few quirks with the Homelink popup...when I first pulled out of my garage, the normal button I use to close the garage wasn't on the screen. I had to manually pull it up with the button at the top of the screen. Then when I returned home, only one of the 2 programmed doors popped up (and of course, it was not the one I needed). I'm going to reboot before my next drive. Hopefully that quick goes away as I've never had any misbehavior of this type from Homelink.

Good advice. I’ve probably driven over 100 miles with 3.6.0 DDPro hands-free and it’s great - within its current capabilities. I love this update!

DDPro works great on freeways (hands-free) and even on city roads (hands-on). Just remember - you are still the driver!

Take over for:

• Developing dangerous situations such as cars cutting in or veering into your lane. The nice thing about DDPro is that you can pay more attention to traffic patterns and surroundings with less focus on keeping your car centered and on-speed. Take all normal defensive driving precautions, and if you can react faster than DDPro, do so. Don’t rely on DDpro to save you.
• High rates of closure such as stopped cars at traffic lights and sudden slowdowns/stopped-traffic on highways.
• Curves that require slowing down. DDPro often enters curves too fast and slows down while in the curve. You never want to be breaking and cornering at the same time (don’t use the trail-braking racing technique.)

Hands-free is a great update to DDPro. Thank you to the Lucid team!

Lucid is still using HERE's navigation engine and joyless voice output .
But we now have Google's places database, and Google's own search, so navigation input is notably more complete, more accurate.

Per the Owner's Manual under DreamDrive Sensor and Camera Calibration:

"For optimal calibration, it is recommended that this calibration be done during daylight hours in the middle lane of a straight multi-lane highway with little to no traffic around the vehicle."

Uh, okay.

Anyone know where to find such a road for a half-hour stretch of driving?

That stretch between Valdosta and Macon that you’ve already driven at least 4 times this year.

Open settings, then click your name on the top left. Should ask you to log in again. I also had to do this
