Lucid Gravity in the wild

Saw Abyss Black Gravity passing me on the Alligator Alley on I-75 (headed towards Naples,FL) last night, my 3rd Gravity sighting in the wild in about 3 months
Had to 'crawl' around 70-75 mph in order to be able to get home without charging stop

Has anyone else noticed a significant uptick in Gravity's? I'm in New York and I'm already seeing them more frequently that the Air.

I'm in the DFW area and I've still never seen one in the wild outside of a Lucid Owner's Group gathering.

Then again, in the past year of owning an Air, I've only seen 4 Airs in the wild, and one of them was in NJ.

Seeing Gravity's in the wild in Socal on a regular basis (Air too) and when I was in Washington (State) last week saw one Gravity just outside Seattle!

On my daily commute in Bay Area I still see more Airs than Gravities. I would say 6-8 Airs and 2-3 Gravities each day. Definitely increasIng by the week.

I also just learned that someone in my neighborhood just picked up a Black Gravity - same trim as mine.

Finally saw my first (other) Gravity in the wild last week, going the other direction on I-70 in Kansas. Had to look close because they don't really differential much from, well, a lot of minivans.

I saw a white Gravity zooming by traffic here in Anthem, Henderson. The first time on Jan 6. Then I saw it again (I'm assuming it's the same white one) following my AGT kinda close but not tailgating. I was on the left lane of 2 lane road and then he passed me on the right. He was probably going about 55-65 in a 45 zone. My wife said he wants to show his Gravity to the poor AGT owner. Lol

Yeah. I said that half in jest because we get digs so often about "minivan". But at the same time, every time another vehicle catches my eye as wondering if it's a Gravity, it usually turns out to be a minivan. A Toyota Sienna... Honda Odyssey... Chrysler Pacifica... etc. A grill on the front is probably the best way to tell the difference at first glance from a distance, until I can look closer.

That's the color combo I saw too (white body, black top).

It always looks so odd to me to see the car practically sitting on the wheels like that. But I know some people like that look. Just looks broken to me.

That’s stock parked only height, can’t actually drive that low even though you and everyone else are about 1-2” higher at speeds over 70 and don’t even know it…for efficiency

Yes, I know it goes to Low at speed for better aerodynamics.

I haven't played with the ride height much to see exactly when it adjusts and if it always goes back to what I have it set to when parking again. It seemed inconsistent the few times I tried. It's easier for my 84yo mom to get in and out when it's lowered, but I like it better in Standard. Plus it just looks "right" parked in Standard to me.

Today, I'm not ashamed to say, as a grown man I acted like a kid seeing Santa Claus come down the chimney.
I saw a Gravity a mile from my house.

I looked in my rear view mirror and saw the word "Lucid" on the front.
I looked closer and saw that the front end was too high to be an Air.
I found a turn lane to a neighborhood and pulled over enough to let it pass.

Yep. I followed it to a traffic light were I motioned that "I have one of those".
The passenger apparently figured she'd take a chance and find out what the crazy man in the next lane was motioning about.
They had been wondering if there were others in the area.
They live in the city (Richmond, VA), but were driving where I live (Chesterfield County, VA)

So glad this forum exists, because nobody else, especially wife would understand my excitement.
Go Lucid!
Love this car/van/suv/wagon whatever you call it, I don't care.
