Lucid Gravity: Children's Perspective

Now that I have had time to really learn my GGT, with all of it's features, and everything is working, I've started taking my three granddaughters (ages 2; 3, turning 4 next week; and 6) on outings; mostly to nearby state and local parks. I've also had time to buy a seat cover for the second row along with two car seats and a booster seat.

My wife is along to assist, but we leave the parents at home; we'll bring along one set eventually.

They're all lined up in the second row seats.
I glance in the mirror and see them looking up, so I ask them, "what do you see?".
The 3 year old: I see the sky and myself (reflection).
The 6 year old: I see the sky and the leaves.

The six year old: How much did this car cost?
Me: Oh it cost some money.
Six year old: $2,000?
Me: Maybe
Six year old: $3 million?
Me: No, not that much.

The six year old sees the second row heating/cooling screen.
I explain how it works.
A few miles later she asks, "Why is cold air blowing on Ellie (her sister)?
I look at the temp settings on the pilot panel.
She has her temp set to 86 degrees and her sister's to 59!

The six and three year olds see the multimedia screen on the pilot panel and the artists in one of my Spotify playlists.
The song requests begin.

On another outing during which we didn't take the strollers, we're loading gear into the rear cargo area after another stop and the six year old notices that one third row seat is up, but the other is missing (folded away).
She asks: Where's the other seat?
I show her.
Six year old: I want to sit back here next time!

I've got three bosses during the outings.

As long as we eventually do it get to what each wants, we're good. No tantrums. Just the look of disappointment that I hate to see.

On long roadtrips, we plug in a cooler to keep everything chilled. Oldest was sitting in half-folded third row by herself passing us drinks. Stopped at a charging stop and all three climbed into the frunk and ate their sandwiches as the car charged. Didn't think we'd use the frunk as a seat but now seriously wondering if worth getting that frunk cushion.

I'll put in a request to the photographer (my wife). I'm usually too caught up in the moment to take pictures.

It's inevitable . That and sun shades are likely our next purchases from the Lucid Store. I was hoping that they will enable referrals for Gravity owners and then I'll see what I can accumulate before next summer's roadtrips.

FWIW, if you so much as put a hand or finger up to block it, it will pop right back up. It is quite sensitive to not closing on you. I’ve tested it multiple times (and hit the button by accident when I first got it).

Do not try this on the Air. It may absolutely break your fingers.

But the Gravity handles it spectacularly.

I'm not counting any of my granddaughters to do that.
Especially the 3 year old.
If that frunk comes down near her, she may never even come close to the car for awhile. She may try to kick it or hit it though and run like crazy.

I suppose if one were worried about the button being pressed accidentally with kids you could try to adapt a child safety switch cover to fit over it.
