I think it’s set to whatever you have it set to disappear at x mph. So mine is set to 6mph and it goes away then. Haven’t tried increasing it. So “no”, it is still limited by a set speed, unlike Tesla and Rivian.

Also, you don’t see “through” the car ahead of you. You see through your frunk so you can see your tires and what’s under the car. Super cool and useful in snow and ice. OR you see through the Birds Eye view. Also very helpful.

No, objectively - I didn’t hang up in frustration and tell her we’ll talk when she gets home. :)

So, objectively, we had a successful call which is a massive improvement from the past successful hang-ups. :p

(I never use Bluetooth for phone in my car anyway because to me driving is a “me and the road” experience, but I know I’m definitely in the minority for that)

That’s cool. Hoping they enable the ability to see around you at faster speeds. So convenient.

Same thing happened to me despite standing as far away from the vehicle as possible. So I ended up going outside my home to the backyard and that seemed to do the trick. So make sure you're as far away as you can get when updating the key fob. I also had the 99% issue, but eventually that self-resolved when updating from further away. Hope this helps.

I walked far down the street (it’s 9 degrees outside), pulled the battery out, and tried again. This time it found the key fob, but said it was already updated. Yet, the app still shows an update is available, so I’m not convinced. I walked home, took the car out for a little ride, restarted the phone and app, and same thing: it shows key fob update is available, but when I step through it it says it’s already updated. Thoughts?
 
Does the update arrive any faster if you check every hour? I have been tempted to setup a shrine in the back with WIndows 10 and 11 cd roms. Do I need to burn the WIndows 95 cd? Goodness awaits...

Had to shake my main keyfob twice to get it to connect....then it got stuck for about 15min at 10%. Ended up having to abort the process. Then I remembered I had my 2nd keyfob in a nearby drawer. I moved that one to inside of the microwave (Faraday cage) and then it connected and successfully updated the fob. I then swapped out the fobs from the microwave and updated the 2nd one without issue.

Please note: it is NOT recommended to use the microwave while the keyfob is inside! LOL

Was having similar until I took battery out of fob, told my phone to "start" they keyfob update, and then inserted the battery while it was looking for fob and it worked perfectly

I'm not sure how to determine that. When I go to the Software Update screen in the app, then choose KEY FOB, it gives me the Upgrade/Get Started screen, with no versions displayed. Am I missing something?
