Lucid Gravity 3.4.0 software update

Overall, I think the bluetooth and reduced warnings seem like the biggest wins here. I think if this had shipped on day 1, people would be complaining a lot less.

Some of those things sound good. Hopefully that's just the high-level description and it fixes more specifics. Like CREEP not staying on. And SXM not staying on the Favorites screen. And map view not staying where you last left it. And inconsistent connectivity causing SXM to frequently cut out, skip, or stop altogether.

There's a lot of things where the car doesn't remember where you left it on the last drive and I have to manually change them back every time.

Lol those 3 things are my exact top 3 software gripes too! Glad I'm not alone!

Does the new update fix the vehicle offline issue?

Man, functioning BT is my #1 complaint, so hopefully it's usable! I have had to hold my phone to my ear since I got the vehicle. The constant notifications are super annoying, so that would be another win.

For me, logging out of the Lucid app and then logging back in fixed my connectivity/liveview issues. Even keeping WiFi on the car.

I’ve had to fix this twice with customer service. If you are game to try one solution, Try this:

Hard reset the car. Turn OFF car WiFi.
Turn on your Phone’s hotspot. Turn on WiFi on car and connect to your hotspot.

Verify that the car switched to ONLINE on your lucid app.

Let it stay connected for a couple minutes. Apparently there is some central system that establishes connectivity they can see on their end.

Once you confirm your app shows the car as connected/online, turn off your hotspot so the car disconnects from it, and it should stay online on your app.

This has worked twice for me.

I might give it a try. The fact that you’ve had to do it twice doesn’t give me much hope though.
 
I'm not super clear on the rollout here. Is it going out now to beta testers and employees now, meaning it'll be weeks before I get it? Or do the emails and posts about restarts and fob batteries that we've seen today mean that I can expect to get that update at any moment?

The joke is we are all beta testers, whether or not we signed up to be.
 
Nick Twork's post said it would be going out to customers starting today. Doesn't seem like it went out to very many tho...

The email today from Emad Diala made it sound like it will be "...available to install in the coming days..."

The statement "We are beginning the rollout with Beta Testers, as well as employees, to ensure the software update is approved for mass rollout" came from a post by someone in the Lucid Gravity - Got Boost? FB group in which the person posting said they received the info from their SA.

It's possible that statement was part of an internal communication shared by the SA. Which could mean the SA received the communication awhile ago (possibly weeks), like at the start of the rollout with beta testers and employees.

Follow that up with the statement from Nick Twork and that brings us to today.

Just trying to reconcile the beta tester statement with Nick's statement.

This is kind of what I assumed as well - that first releasee notes we saw might be old and the rollout was going to regular customers starting today. But since update doesn't seem to be rolling out broadly today, I started to wonder if we got our hopes up prematurely.
