Lucid Gravity 3.4.0 software update

The new Gravity update 3.4.0 is rolling out today, and we have started the discussion in a much older thread from July of 2025 here https://lucidowners.com/threads/gravity-software-updates.12940/. However, I thought we would start a new thread dedicated to just this update, like we have done for other previous updates, especially since it's so massive.

There is an investor day on March 12th, where I imagine they want to be able to say the software problems experienced during early Gravity deliveries has been fixed. They will get the reviewers to drive the new software.and write updates.

Just a guess, but there’s enough time to get the better news out before the meeting. Barely…

Praying that this is not someone’s idea of a sick prank… (has anyone has gotten an official notification about this update and it’s copious contents)?

Something to be aware of with the fob update. I have found that the fob may not stop communicating with the car when placed in the same location as before the update. This will drain you fob battery in hours. This could be some incompatibility with the old car software that was not found. So you may want to hold off installing the fob update until after the car update. Or keep your fob far away or in a metal box until this is resolved.

It may also be that both the car and fob need to be running updated software for the “fix” to work

52 cars are registered on the site so it’s a small sample size of the fleet but the progress bar should continue over the coming days.

A reminder for those registered on the site but not on auto-sync. You will need to update the software version in your vehicles page for it to be reflected on the progress bar. For those enrolled in auto-sync, it will update when the site does its background sync.

To continue with community engagement, I also launched the bug tracker today where owners can list a bug should they discover it in the new software version. It will make it visible to all owners where others can upvote it should they experience it as well.

Fob update stopped at 99%. Eventually I gave up, restarted the app and when it connected again (took a couple of tries) it said my fob was up to date. And seems to work. Car software still on 3.3.22

Updated both fobs today without issues (using the Lucid Android app).

I'm finding walkup/walkaway more reliable and quicker with the new fob software (02.35.08), but that's just my subjective perception. Will see whether combined with 3.4.0 it's even more noticeable.

Same for me. Also I had been having an issue with the car not locking when I walked away. After fob update today that appears to be fixed.

Lucid Customer Service told me that they are trying to push v3.4.0 to all Gravitys by end of week. I am obsessively refreshing the Software Updates page in my Lucid portal.
