Doing a car with 100% new hardware and 100% new software in two years is just impossible… And everyone had to know that. It looks to me like someone made the decision to ship that car before they were done, and the old software leadership team was just used as the scapegoat for that decision.

Sometimes it’s amazing what even six more months of coding and testing can do to approve the quality of a product…

I agree.
For such a large release, developing and testing the fixes would have taken much longer than the time since the leadership change (in Nov).
 
2 questions

1) What’s the difference between 3.4.1 and 3.4.0?

2) Did the update resolve the HVAC issue? Currently, the system does not recognize occupied seats when car seats are installed, even though the seat belts are buckled. As a result, the HVAC does not activate for the 2nd and 3rd rows. This is especially problematic in the 3rd row since there are no dedicated controls, unlike the 2nd row where I can at least manually force the HVAC on.

Installing now. Notification popped up in the middle of running errands. Been running hour and counting so far.

That's one of my biggest complaints... the car failing to leave so many settings and screen views the same way we left them on the last drive (same driver). Multiple things have to be changed every time I get back in the car, like CREEP, the SXM Favorites screen, the map view, etc.

Shouldn't be that hard to just keep everything the way we left it.

P.S. No update yet.

Still waiting to get the update here.... hopefully it will get pushed soon!
 
Just got it, but every time I try to install it, it says update failed. No one is in the car and the doors are locked. It's not connected to a charger
 
Just got the app notification about 15 minutes ago and started the update.
 
I got the update notification ~5p in the Bay Area. Updated car and fob without a hitch. I have only taken one short drive so far but I agree the turn signal video feeds seem to be higher quality. Most importantly, my n=1 test of Bluetooth phone call quality was dramatically improved over its previous unusable state. That was my single biggest peeve so I am thrilled it seems like it might have been fixed.
 
Just received update notification approximately 10 minutes after moving my car closer to the house to connect to WiFi.

When I went outside to check (before update), I couldn’t open the Software Release Notes for v3.3.20 because I had no internet connection. It had been offline for the last 2 days!
 
The update has been completed as well as the updates to my two fobs. Everything went very smoothly and whilst I’ve only taken a small drive in the vehicle. Everything looks great looking forward to a longer drive tomorrow thank you, Lucid.
 
3.4 has finally reached the Empire State 🗽
 
Just checked my phone to see I got a notice 14 minutes ago that it's available. Starting it now.

Looks like maybe a whole batch just went out based on the latest comments above.

I had turned wifi off earlier in the day, so mine's downloading on it's internal cell signal.

I'm in this latest batch too. Got the update here in WA. Installing
 
Got the update around 20' ago here in Central California. Currently at 28% complete. Looking forward to giving it a spin tomorrow.
 
The app kept saying failed but wouldn't give me a reason but when I tried it directly from the car it said it is because there was an occupant still in the car. The occupant was in my car seat. It's odd though, I could have sworn I did an update before with the car seat in there.
 
Update took 90 minutes to install. Jumped from 20 something % at 80 minutes to done next time I looked. Too much anticipatory wine to test tonight..
