Lucid Cosmos Specifications

Yes I think Kyle at OOS mentioned it looked something like the prius which has something like what you described.
Yeah, the newest investor documents from the Q2 Earnings call looks like the rear window will be in two pieces

Also looks like we have a front end photo under camo

Just sharing some of my notes on what Silvio Napoli talked about during the Q2 earnings call. On midsize: Napoli has driven the latest Cosmos prototype and says it is true to the Lucid DNA and he was very impressed. Cosmos will still be the first out of AMP-2 and out of the midsize program. Midsize will launch ONLY when all process requirements are passed, not repeating past product launches.

Personally, I would not be surprised if official midsize launch will be delayed into 2027, and I respect that Napoli has emphasized that they do not intend to repeat past mistakes. Silvio has alluded that AMP-2 will be ready for production in early 2027, with ramp up in the 2nd half of 2027, though no explicit news yet

They always say that, of course. They have to. I'm sure they said that before the Gravity launch too. Hopefully it ends up being accurate this time.

Agreed that a delay into 2027 is probably more realistic, just based on track record alone. And treat being on-time and mostly problem-free (if it happens) as a happy surprise.

I'm pretty sure that is what Silvio stated. Cosmos would be built at Amp 2 which would begin production in early 2027 with ramp up in 2nd half of year. Thus, Cosmos IS coming in 2027 and not end of 2026. Most likely, won't see any meaningful deliveries until 3rd or 4th quarter of 2027, assuming there are no further delays. I hope they officially reveal the Cosmos within the next 2 or 3 months as I'm anxiously waiting to see what they've put together. However, that is just out of curiosity and not because I'll be getting one.

Nice catch! Next question is how much it costs to get 400 miles.... $50k seems too good to be true
I hope he didn’t confused with Gravity. If cosmos can get 400 miles then we have a hot product.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 400+ miles is in Grand Touring trim, but if the Pure trim can get even close to 400 miles at sub $50k I think midsize would be a winner!

The investor day slide deck says that the AWD trims have efficiency of 4.35 to 4.5 and RWD trims have much higher efficiency. Assuming the RWD has a battery of 80kwh, it’s quite possible the RWD ends up with very high EPA number.

The question is what EPA cycle they would be using to achieve the EPA rating. Note that Tesla Model Y is rated on 2 cycle test and the slide deck compares its atlas efficiency to this.

Can’t wait for them to reveal it and publish the specs.
