Lucid and iOS 27 compatibility?

Just curious if anyone has installed the IOS 27 Beta on their iPhone and had experience with CarPlay connections with their Lucid Air? And the Lucid App functioning? I have had relatively few issues with my Air GT, my fobs work well, in general CarPlay is responsive (the occasional glitch where launching CarPlay involves activating navigation or a song. And Hands Free Driving has been slightly more reliable since the update to 2.9...

I'm running the beta. However, I'm driving an Air loaner, so am not familiar with Air software behavior. I have found that music from CarPlay completely stops while. doing anything else (searching for a destination) but it starts back up when iphone is back in locked mode. Don't know if that is an iOS 27 difference or something that happens on 2.9.0 with Air.

Beta seems to be quite "robust", however - haven't had any significant issues [yet]...

Of course, Apple Betas don't always progress with each iteration. We'll see with the next one.

Haven't noticed any issues with the Lucid app on iOS 27. Haven't tested CarPlay yet and I'm not really a good candidate to answer on that as I rarely use it.
 
Had some really poor connection consistency on first commute. Wouldn’t stay connected for more than a few minutes.
 
Very interesting. Question? Was the issue with connection consistency between the iPhone to a cellular signal or bluetooth connection between the iPhone and the Lucid?

I really do like the idea of being able to have a conversation with Siri AI while traveling, I have a longer commute to work ~70 miles that I do two to three times per week, and having a record of the research related questions I pose would be rather helpful. But of course that is dependent on a stable connection etc.
 
It was definitely a phone to car issue, not service.
 
I use CarPlay on all my cars and since the last iOS 26 update it has been very reliable and works great with all my cars.
 
I have had a good experience as well since the prior iOS26 update, have your tried the new iOS 27 Beta?
 
I am running iOS 27 on an iPhone 17 Pro Max.. Car play is fine, and iOS 27 has some new GUI options for carplay which are nice. Have seen no Carplay issues.
What is heartbreaking is the send destination to car feature is broken again! Can't send an address through Apple Maps or the Lucid App (which actually is Apple Maps). Gets the same error it used to get. It's sad because it finally started working again, and now it's broken again. a very useful feature.

Making calls is fine thru Carplay. All I've seen is send to destination broken again. Sob sob.

Interesting, my destination sending seems to work still. I’ll report back on my connectivity issues later today, I have 4 hours in the car ahead of me.
 
I get a message in Maps that says "destination sharing is not supported in this application". Same message I got before it was 'fixed' last time. Curious.

I’m still able to share from iOS 27 via Apple and Google Maps.
 
It's a mystery. Rebooted phone. Tried again. No go. Can send to everywhere except my Lucid. But you're on a GT, I'm on an Air. Maybe that is the difference.
 
Interesting... it does work from Google Maps on iPhone, but not Apple Maps. Hooray!
 
4 hours in the car today, no connection issues. Must’ve been a day day for either the car or the phone, but I’ve never had that behavior before ios27

I am running beta
 
Oh so many people use iOS Beta? is it worth doing? I am new to iOS ecosystem (since iphone 17 pro max last year) and never used beta versions of iOS.
 
I’d say roughly the small amount of features added has been worth the small amount of buginess
