Lucid air pure 2025 buzzing/whining sound when entering the car

Hello guys,

Im a very new lucid air owner. I just want to share with you a new issue that i got from day 1.
So whenever i enter the car there is a weird and annoying whining sound coming from the car that sometimes takes too long to shutdown. The only workaround i do is by activating the “battery preconditioning” to stop the whining sound.

Is any of you guys experiencing the same. And is this normal?

I have scheduled a maintenance next week but i want to check with you guys if anyone experienced the same!

Sounds is there even if you turn off ac and seat ventilation (if you have it)?

Yes it does even without AC is on.

49 degrees Celsius is *very hot*, and that’s the temp the car thinks it is, so I can only assume it was *very hot* outside. In that case, the car is cooling off the batteries. That is almost certainly what’s doing it.

The reason battery preconditioning turns it off is that DCFC charging temperatures are also *very hot*, and that means… nothing to cool!

If you’re not DCFC charging though, you should let it cool the batteries down instead of turning on preconditioning, to reduce battery degradation.

That said, do have service check it out just in case, if they’re already scheduled.
