Same, Same. I didn't install 2.8.7. I was away and the fist time I got in the car after I got back it asked me if I wanted to install it, but I didn't do it. Then it never asked again until 2.8.9 was there. Just did 2 long days of driving and had no issues with anything.

When texting or calling the audio volume use to lower for maybe 15 seconds then returned to previous level, now it remains lowered for like a minute! Anyone else experience this?

my audio also got messed up with the update. If I am using navigation and Sirius XM through carplay. The radio volume controls do not work and I had to adjust volume by going into settings and increasing the volume on the radio by increasing volume in the navigation.

Since my last post since the update:
1) noticing A LOT, that when I get into the car after it's been sitting for a few hours that the pilot screen 'center and left' display windows stay black for about 30-45 sec as I sit in the car waiting to drive. Just before it all comes back, I see the 'lucid' splash screen as if the car rebooted. I've re-booted several times since the update, and this is still an issue. This happens at least every other day.
2) Tidal is a memory drain even more so, to the point of crashing all of the sound system if I advance too many tracks. I have to re-boot the car to get it working again (or walk away from the car for a few hours)... and after a reboot from the sound system crashing, the volume for the 'button press' is at MAXIMUM volume even if I have the slider completely low.. I have to jiggle the slider and then it's normal again.

I am frequently experiencing number 1 as well
I'm not sure what's going on with this release but my mileage is thru the roof. I've been very consistent at 3.8 m/kW for 3&1/2 years. Suddenly, I'm way up.
My precessor "Since Last Trip" was 4.36 m/kW for 30kW consumed with mostly highway driving.
My current one is 5.16 m/kW for 9 kW consumed. I usually don't bother looking until 10 kW consumed because otherwise I don't feel it's sufficiently accurate.
This is nuts, in a good way.

You might need to apply your physical brakes with 2.8.9. comparatively to 2.8.5. or older.

A few times I think it’s a CarPlay bug. Mine only did this with ios26.
What years do you have? My 26 hasn’t done the dead screen at all. It’s been mostly bug free.

I’ve been dealing with the left screen delay too in my 2022. I basically can’t use my frunk until it feels like turning on again. My iPhone app always shows no internet connection too so I can never open or unlock via the app. Not a good look for the brand when people are waiting for my parking space.OG …. 2022. What upgraded screens are you referring to?
The driver screen $1000 upgrade they offer if you have the old one
How fast do you drive on the highway? I usually set the car at 85 and tend to accelerate very fast and I get around 3.25. I might be getting a slight increase with the update, but nothing this shocking.
Not the screens themselves - the infotainment computer.
