Funnily enough, my 384mi EPA rated AT really only gets between 250-285ish miles real world range. I haven't found it to be limiting really. I even did 922miles in one "day" ( 16hrs not including extra time I took to write down data at each charging stop)
I routinely drive my Lucid AGT (rated at 512 miles, but realistically can only do about 380 miles, remaining SoC @5%) and my Rivian R1S large pack (rated at 300 miles, but I can do just about 310 miles using "Conserve" mode) on my 780 mile "commute" between Marin County and Arizona. Even if you have a TRUE 500+ mile range (and honestly, Lucid AGT does not), it wouldn't have made much of a difference because of fatigue and other biological limitations.
Noone has ever stated 500 miles of highway range on any marketing or vehicle....
The Air Dream Edition Range had a EPA range of 520mi, on the 19” wheels. They didn’t sell many, because the vast majority opted for the performance version.
Heard through the grapevine it was like 80/20. But that is not actual data, just anecdotal hearsay.

I said specifically highway range. There are the regular GTs and range versions with EPA overall.
Well I found it to be limiting. My "range to empty" was routinely under 200 miles, and if I had to make a couple unexpected trips, I was always worried that i couldn't get somewhere (like a regional hospital) if I needed to. I don't have that worry now. If my estimate range gets to 200 or less, I just hook it up in the garage. On an 80% charge, I can easily get close to 400 miles (but not on the highway doing 80
)That is the Lexus tradeoff. Excellent service and old but reliable technology,. Remember Toyota has been making cars with electrical motors for many years. It is interesting, to me, that in Scottsdale the Lexus store is separately owned and across the street from all the German luxury brands (Penske) and about ten miles north of the Lucid store in Scottsdale and about two miles away from the Rivian store.
