Borski, I respectfully disagree with you about Lucid usually doing things right. I had some modest body damage that required a trip to an authorized repair shop. Putting aside the fact that I'm 3 years into ownership of my Touring and Lucid still does not have an authorized repair shop in the entire state of Delaware, I had to bring my car to a shop a modest 3 hour ride away in Alexandria, VA. The repair shop botched the repair job and made my car inoperable (it was very drivable when I brought it to the repair shop); They had it towed to Lucid to figure out what they did wrong. Because Lucid has so few service centers, it took over 2 months to get the problem fixed. Not having any faith in this repair shop, on
FIVE different occasions I advised Lucid not to return my car to the repair shop and that I would pick up the repaired car directly from Lucid. The nite before & the morning my car was ready, I spoke with 2 different Lucid employees & confirmed I was coming to their location to pick up the car. Upon arrival, I was told that Lucid had released my car to the repair shop earlier that morning. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the Lucid mgr., he told me that company policy was that they had to release the car to the repair shop because "they paid the bill" (i.e., Lucid's bill to repair what the repair shop botched). What part of property ownership does Lucid not understand ???? My car, my choice. Yet, because of Lucid's actions in direct contravention to my instructions, I wasn't able to recover my car for an additional 5 hours !!! Am I steamed? Yes. Obviously. But I have high hopes that I will have an opportunity to raise this issue with Lucid management. At that time, I expect to convey perhaps the only thing I've learned in practicing property law for 40 years

, - absent a court order. you don't give someone's property to a 3rd party against the property owner's express wishes. So Borski, I'll respectfully agree to disagree with you about Lucid doing the right thing. And I am not holding my breath waiting for Lucid to do the right thing.
