Hi everyone! Found this forum today and love the information on here! I ordered a Gravity in December after the arrival of my twins and looking to upgrade from my Mustang Mach-E. Looks like I am the first to order a Gravity in Minnesota (at least from the tracker). 3 car seats in the MME has been tough, at best (2 infant carriers and a forward-facing convertible). Those that have seen Gravitys (Gravities?) in real life, any thoughts on how car seats would fit with 3 kids? 2 of the seats will always have to be the same for my case, and after delivery, it will be short lived with infant carriers, but rear-facing convertibles. Is there enough room to have 2 in the middle (60% of the bench) leaving one outboard seat available to access the back with a forward-facing car seat? I have seen the comments about some difficulty getting into the third row, but young kids are flexible enough to get back there no problem.
The other question I have is if a folded stroller of 37" x 28" x 14" dimensions will fit in the trunk. I saw the post on reddit with the dimensions outlined, but not sure what the distance is between the top of the third row seat and the rear hatch. This is the StollAir TwinWay Double Stroller (Highly recommend for multiples, or if you want 2 kids to sit side by side).
The cargo capacity sounds impressive, and with the below floor storage, I think the stroller will fit, but not sure how accurate this picture is: (Autopian Review).

The Gravity seems like such a better vehicle than any other 3 row electric that is available - and after having electric, I am not willing to go back to gas (or even hybrid). Hoping to join the Lucid family with my now expanded family!

You can fit two car seats side by side in the third row, and they even have the latching system for car seats in the third row iirc; someone will have to double check that because I haven’t verified it, I just recall hearing it in a review.

You could fit three side by side in the Air back seat (@hydbob has done it) and so I’d be surprised if you couldn’t in the gravity.

The second-row outer seats are equipped to accept LATCH/ISOFIX restraints. Only a seat belt-retained child seat can be used in the second-row center seating position, similar to the Air.

Truthfully, best way to find out is to go to a Lucid Studio with tape measure to verify dimensions. Lucid reps might even let you try fitting your stroller in the Gravity.
Just be at the door as soon as the Studio opens and make sure that your stroller is clean, especially the wheels.

Good diagram! If the middle row is wider than the MME, this could definitely work and have the two rear-facing in an outboard and middle position, with the front facing in the other outboard. Only use third row when needed with family in town.

I was thinking that. The closest studio is in Chicago - have people traveled to studios to check these cars out ahead of delivery? I was hoping I could contact the mobile service center in Minneapolis and see when a Gravity may be there to check this out.

Big ask, in New York I had to beg to put a pen through the firewall to even get close to the outside of a wheel to measure distance.

This is truly the big question. You usually have to go up to the full size class (Expedition, Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade, etc...) in order to get a wide enough bench to put two car seats side by side.

You could fit three side by side in the Air back seat (@hydbob has done it) and so I’d be surprised if you couldn’t in the gravity.

In the Air you CANT do this if one of the seats is occupied with a carseat. (maybe for 3 adults you can). But I've tried to carry 2 adults+baby in car seat in my Air, the the middle seat is incredibly uncomfortable to sit in. You have to lean against the other passenger. (Also had my seat belt chime going off the whole time because it was impossible to get middle seat passenger squarely on top of the seat occupied sensor.

You would definitely want to test fit in a demo when they are finally available. Lucid sales associates are super chill regarding this. I've seen people swing by the studios with strollers and trying to stick everything in and seeing how it all fits. They even drove an Air to my house so I could test fit a single car seat.

I use Diono car seats, 17” wide and easily fit two, front and rear facing with a passenger side seat open for any adult. In an Aviator which is similarly wide.

First, call ahead to introduce yourself and express your serious intent to buy a Gravity; even better if you've already reserved one.
I arrived very early, right before the Studio opened. I was the only one inside for the first ~15-20 minutes.
They let me inspect almost every inch of it. I was wearing disposable gloves so as not to worry them about fingerprints. Only thing I was not allowed to do was sit inside.
However, very soon, many Studios will be receiving Production Gravitys for customers to experience and test drive.

I've done 2 front facing and 1 rear facing in the Air just fine. I was using the Graco 4ever-in-1 and the Chico whatever with the detachable carrier at the time.
