New 2025 GT with Comfort and Convenience package delivered end of December 2024, built October 2024. Solid Roof

Neither key card provided unlocks ability to drive without ‘code’ entry. They do unlock the car at B pillar.

Visited Studio and was shown how fast and easily holding card near plastic ‘microphone array in roof-ceiling’ works on showroom cars. In fact the studio uses the card to microphone as their default way to take people for ‘demo’ drives.

Also was shown the ceiling led array that is missing in my vehicle. ( and also should note Tahoe floor mats have Velcro anchors like all 2024 cars, while grey have new 2025 posts!)

This card enabling of drive makes the card reasonable for valet.

Is this a unique omission? Has anyone experience with it AND its resolution?

Or have no others reported it.

I haven’t heard of this before. It sounds like service needs to re-pair the cards or replace the security node.

Thread 'Using The Valet Key Card'

I may be late to the party here but I have confirmed there is a way to start the Lucid Air with only the valet key card.

- Unlock/Lock: Tap the card on the B pillar just above the camera.
- Start/Drive: Bypass the PIN by tapping the card to the right of the center microphone array (See picture)

This allows the valet, car wash, or other guests to use the car without the key fob or your PIN
