Thank you Lucid! My key fob battery warned me it was low and I ordered replacements but was traveling. Obviously it be hard to find CR 2450 at times. No worries - you gave me 6 of them - in my visor mirror lights! Totally allowed me to borrow one until I got home. Genius!

I have a tiny screwdriver and two new batteries in my console for emergencies, especially since it's possible I might need a new console

Serious question. There is a warning for low battery for the key fob? How does one get that? In the app? My key fob just died today (lasted a month and half) while I was at work. Glad the key card worked to unlock and start the car.

It pops up as a notification on the left side with the rest of notifications in the widescreen (where the dynamic efficiency panel is). Like those other notifs, I'm not convinced it's a reliable indicator; I've had fobs die w/o the notification as well.

I keep a plastic spudger and batteries in the car now just in case too. I figure the plastic pry tool will be less harmful on the key fob case over time since this will likely be a regular occurrence until Lucid figures it out for good.

I've been opening it up occasionally to check the levels. it has already dropped 0.4V in two weeks. :confused:

I always have a spudger in my car (and desk, kitchen drawer, work table, etc lol). The true multitool.
 
so glad I had extra batteries in my car this past weekend! Was 3 hours from home and the fob wasn't being recognized so I changed the battery and it worked
sure hope they fix the fob drain soon

Reminder: the visor lights always have extra batteries for you in a pinch. (Assuming you can unlock with cellular, the key card, or call Lucid to unlock it for you)
 
The fob drain is so frustrating, I've been replacing the battery once per 3 weeks almost, and it didn't even give a low battery notice last time.
