We are retiring a Model S and we now have a Lucid Air.
Our garage was wired for the 240V J1772 cable to comfortably reach the rear charge port that Teslas have. But, with the charge port in the front, the Lucid charging cord barely reaches. I see there are J1772 extension cords/cables for sale on Amazon. The most reasonable one costs about $60 but is only rated for 30 amperes.
I looked all over the owner's manual and can't find the current draw for a garage JU1772 240V Lucid chargers. Does anyone know how many amps an extension cable should be able to carry safely? A safe extension cord/cable would cost way less than having an electrician install a new line.
