Hey everyone! First time Lucid owner, had a Tesla S before this and had a 50 Amp outlet installed for the Tesla cable. Now with the Lucid I'm looking for recommendations for a cable for home charging that will use the existing 50 Amp outlet, ideally with a 25' cable. Thanks!

I have a ChargePoint 25' on a 50 amp circuit. While mine is hardwired, they make a cable that will plug into the existing outlet (NEMA 14-50). I would strongly suggest that you only purchase a name brand charger. One source to find reputable EV chargers is to search on your electrical utilities' website for recommended EV chargers.

awesome - thanks!

Tom Moloughney has excellent EVSE reviews on Youtube. You can get a well-reviewed Grizzle-E unit for about $350.

Also, Lucid's mobile charging cable would work well. It's expensive at $650, but if you add the RangeXChange cable, you can charge other EVs with your Lucid if you wish.

If you still have it, just use an adapter for your Tesla home charger. NACS appears to be the future now, anyway.

A lot of the scheduled charging functions don't work well with the Lucid. A "dumb" reliable charger would be my reccomedation. Too bad Lucid stopped providing their mobile charger with each new car because that's what I use. If I had to purchase one, I'd second the previous mention of Grizzl-e - tough, reliable and fairly inexpensive.
