Is there a best/worst Air model year?

I have a Gravity but our household needs another car. Want to buy a used or lease a new Air until the mid-size models role out presumably not earlier than mid 2027.

I had never researched the Air - is there a specific model year to get or avoid due to better QC? Are there any meaningful differences in the years?

MY25 got the upgraded CCC, meaning it can get UX3.x eventually. It also has better efficiency and a heat pump. Otherwise they’re more or less all the same. CCC can always be upgraded on older models, too

Yeah, this. If the delta between MY22-24 and MY25-26 is less than $950 or so, just upgrade the CCC on the older Air.

Also, the best year is 2022 because you might find a DE.

(if you live in a cold climate, the heat pump could make a significant difference. If you live in CA, it's basically nil)

That is for the TCU, not the CCC.

If you use Tidal, you’ll see a “master” quality. If you don’t, how long does it take for the keyboard to come up when you tap in the search bar of maps? Once I upgraded that went from a few seconds to nearly instant
