Reading the .59 update thread https://lucidowners.com/threads/2-0-59-update.5387/ and was looking at the picture:

I added the red lines to the side lanes. When I engage HA, I do not see this (only the center lane).

Is DDP capable of displaying the other cars that ir "sees" (which would show up in the side lanes)?

Just wandering if I need to do something in settings. Yes, I do have DDP.

The DDP promo video showed cars to the side but that feature has not been activated in our cars.

Does that mean the feature is there but not good enough yet to be enabled/activated? Is there a sort of roadmap for DDP future releases?

Nobody outside Lucid knows the answers to these questions. I am sincerely hoping that Lucid is still intent on updating the DDP and other aspects of the Air software. They are very tightlipped about their roadmap and future releases. They are still selling DDP for $10k so there must be something in the plans!

My guess is they are waiting for Nvidia to build their self driving platform

NVidia already has one Mercedes is using it and they are lvl3.

It’s more than just taking NVidia’s data and “plugging it in” to the Lucid. It has to be integrated into the Lucid system. So it will take time. But it’s a lot easier than collecting all your own data and training it yourself. Especially when you only have a few thousand cars on the road. So I expect to see improvements somewhat quickly, but not immediately, if that makes sense.

Personally, I'm very glad Lucid is taking its time in activating full DDP and not being reckless about self-driving like Tesla. I'd rather they take it slow and get it right. What would be useful to know is what Lucid defines as full DreamDrive Pro? Will we get to keep 360 surround view without it?

Based on their recent offerings for new vehicles, DD Premium includes the 360 and blind spot cameras, while DD Pro at this point has Highway Assist and will eventually have Highway Pilot
