iPhone doesn’t sit in the charger properly

Air Touring. I have problems charging my I phone. Because of the camera it won’t sit correctly on the charging pad. Any ideas?

I just have a little USB C cable plugged in. The built in charging stinks.

Yup - we had to do that too - so frustrating that phones with cases will NOT fit in the charging dock. I refuse to take my phone out of the case every time I need to charge it.

my 15 pro max does fit but it just overheats and stops charging. I ended up just taping a charging puck to it

They do fit. You are intended to shove it down a bit. The problem is it may scratch the case.

Anyway, twraps is a better solution

I think it depends on the case. It's a tight fit with most cases but bigger and bulkier cases maybe too wide. I understand the larger cases provide more protection but it kind of spoils the aesthetic. If you reach down with your fingertips and gently pull the little bar forward to the maximum position to stretch the spring, it may make subsequent insertions easier. Or you could try @borski 's solution, which I guarantee will work.

I’ve got a simple Apple Rubber case on my 16pro. It doesn’t feel feel right putting my phone in there. And then I have to jiggle it around to get it to charge. My least favorite element of a car I love

It works with large phones in cases / with camera bumps, and doesn't take away from the storage cubby space. You can even close the cover while your phone is charging.
