This survey was released in June and shows EV sales in 1H2023 is already more than all of 2019. California still leads in ev sales and charging infrastructure nationwide, no surprises there.
The survey's emphasis on battery replacement cost and battery health was interesting to me. I guess it's the fear of the unknown for non-EV drivers. Other than for our 2011 Leaf, I've never had to worry about either in 12 years of daily driving EVs. People seem much more worried about it than they would about the possibility of having to replace their car's engine.
