Insurance Issues

Hello, Having an issue with coverage for an accident.
I was referred to K-Ceps by lucid as an authorized service center for repairs to fix a bumper and Glass cockpit.
I have all state and K Ceps claim they are under no obligation to negotiate rates with Allstate.
K Ceps quoted about $47.000 to repair after a significant delay on the side of Allstate and K Ceps.
Allstate claims it is exorbitant and has declined to pay as much, but wants the car transferred out of K Ceps before they can settle the claim.
K Ceps is asking for storage charges of > $20,000 !!
Allstate has offered to pay about $8 thousand to cover for the dismantling and estimate and some storage charges
k Ceps has declined to release the vehicle.
Now I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere for sending my car to a collision center Lucid recommended.
Can someone at Lucid help mediate and resolve this issue with K Ceps so that my car can be released.
It has Been 4 months. Please help!!

Have you contacted customer service ? This is just a forum and you may have better help in contacting directly to them and explaining them the situation.

Very sad to hear about this. I have all state and I am having second thoughts to switch it because they are denying claims on the vehicles.

get legal advice from an attorney well versed in auto insurance claims, not one of the ambulance chasers who advertise heavily

There have been similar issues reported with Allstate here before. My recommendation would be to file a complaint with your state insurance commissioner/agency to hopefully get the ball moving
