Put about a 800 miles on the GGT over the weekend. Beautiful weather up in the Eastern Sierras. Charged exclusively on Superchargers with the membership pass. Never an issue. Tahoe was packed, holy smokes. Thought I may see another Lucid or two at one of my charging stops but I didn’t. Bummer

GGT was flawless and super smooth! The incredible range really shows. I was running about 2.8 efficiency for the entire roadtrip averaging 70 mph on the 22”/23” setup.

Edit: couldn’t attach the photo, site kept giving me an “oops” error.

sounds like an amazing trip!

Is Supercharging with the membership pass cheaper than Ionna or other charging networks?

No Ionna around here but it is cheaper than EA (the other main option on this route). Rivian also has some RAN sites, marginally cheaper from 12 am to 8 am. (Like 4 cents a kw I think).

It was interesting to see that the Rivian chargers at one site I looked up are now a combo of NACS and CCS.

I went back and forth to Ventura last week and I used the EA Pass+ subscription. Charge twice; Pismo Outlets and Paso Robles. Both locations $.42/kWh after the 25% discount. Substantial savings for only a $7 membership fee.

The new EA chargers in Santa Barbara off State Street are really nice. We used them on our last run to SLO. My issue with EA is I never get the rated 350kw, even with perfect conditions. I figure the SC are everywhere and reliable.
