I'm going to buy a GT and really want DD Pro. There are 24 GTs available right now and zero of them have DD Pro.

I can always order one, but I don't want to do that only for one to show up on the site next week. Do ya'll have a sense of how often GTs with DD Pro show up as available? Is there a certain time of month stock generally replensihes?

I would order what you like. Nothing like waiting a bit and getting something that is perfect to your liking. No need to compromise the Air’s seem to be a fairly quick turn around from the factory.

Hope you get something amazing! Send us pictures!

It seems odd that almost zero Airs are being produced with DDP now. Before Jan 2025, it seemed like the majority of GT’s were produced with DDP. Wonder if they are putting those parts in the Gravity instead?

I’d think it’s more likely to be people looking for a lower priced vehicle, coming from the Tesla Model S or Performance Model 3.

If I am coming from a Model S and going to a Lucid Air (which I would be), I would only go Grand Touring and would only go with DDP, since Tesla’s already come with FSD and you can subscribe to it (which I do). I can see if coming from a Model 3 though, as much cheaper car.

I still think it is more than that though, as like I was saying Lucid always had produced more Grand Touring's with DDP before Jan 2025. You would think they would at least be producing some. Who knows, maybe I am wrong. 🙂

The early complaints about the regular Dream Drive was that it didn't include the 360 cameras and a blind spot display. So lucid added the Premium level which included those features. Once a customer had these, and given the Tesla history of promising full self driving but delivering nada, IMO many decided that dream drive was now good enough for their purposes.

Yep - been following Lucid and their Grand Touring inventory since inception. All I am saying, is that they have always produced a lot of inventory DDP GT’s since inception and are producing very few stock cars with DDP in any trim the last couple months. Just find it odd, especially on the Grand Tourings. My SA does too.

Coming from a Model S and using FSD I would only get DDP. I think FSD is very good now and love it when traveling on freeways when on trips.

Have a Gravity on order and of course got DDP. 😀

Perhaps they will transition the Air to DDP2? Based on Gravity?

I suspect Dream Drive Pro has more or less being silently killed by the company and will be shortly replaced by Dream Drive 2 which is in the Gravity (and is apparently both new hardware and software). They probably aren't investing any more resources to improving the old version and therefore are no longer trying to push the extra cost onto new customers for a feature that's end of life. I suspect future versions of the Air (maybe 2026?) will have Dream Drive 2 and you'll start seeing them equipped again with the option.

They are definitely still working on Dream Drive Pro in the Air.
