Here you go fellas! Lucid Air SC network will be enabled

Given that the Tesla superchargers are designed for charge ports on the back left, does A2Z or anyone else make a robust, relatively short extension cable (either NACS or CCS, ie for use either before or after the adapter) that would allow us to reach our port without having to do awkward/obnoxious parking moves? 6 feet might do it….or maybe 8?

A2Z had a prototype extension cord, but I haven't seen it offered for sale yet.

Beware of pictures that may still show the L2 cable though (like A2Z did). HUGE difference. To handle DCFC amperage, any extension cord has to thick, heavy, stiff, and expensive. Just storing it in the car is gonna be a chore, let alone wrangling it for use.

Tesla initially planned to offer an SC extension cable, but then dropped those plans as being impractical. The actual V3/V4 cables are liquid-cooled, but of course extensions cannot be, thus have to be much bigger.

Interesting tidbit of information for those who it applies to: I still have my $650 credit for "charging accessories" that I got at delivery, and I was saving it for this exact moment. I just tried to pre-order and it does not appear that the adapter is a qualifying product 😫
I messaged Customer Care and unfortunately confirmed this wasn't an oversight.
