I noticed this morning that there seems to be a tail of a critter hanging out of the front vents in the bumper of my Lucid Air.
Any suggestions of how to deal with this?

There also seems to be a loose panel of some sort hanging from the bottom of the car right in front of the driver side wheel. Wondering if this could have been the entry point for the animal to get in. Pics attached.

This looks more like the foam insulation. I had this happen to me a couple years ago and once I tugged on it, it was definitely some foam insulation.

Agree with @hydbob, that's not a tail!
That "loose panel" is a plastic thing meant to break away if it is hit. It's very cheap and easy to replace for that reason. Just ask service. And then don't take speed bumps quite so hard in the future!

I had a bird get caught inside those front grills. It was dead and mostly frozen but trying to get it out wasn't pretty (at all)

@Denali_Dane pretty easy fix, Lucid mobile service was willing to get a pair covered by warrantee. I didn’t want him to wait up for long since he had a busy schedule for the day, so we replaced them ourselves and took only a few minutes even with having to improvise our own bolt.

Thank you all for your responses! On closer examination, it indeed was a piece of foam insulation. I should have examined it closer personally before posting here! 😃
My wife thought it looked like a rat’s tail (going from previous experience with one that got into the front of our Audi Q7!)

I will reach out to service to address this.

I’m glad Remy lived to tell the tail…
