Greetings from Chicago

Mission accomplished - Samantha at Goose island was awesome for the delivery - as was the detail guy who honored my ask to not touch the paint and leave it factory raw to the "T", even gave me some tips on what didn't need masking and what not to touch with the buffer. Factory already did a good bit of buffing on it (compound it multiple crevices, probably dust nib removal - will check it with the paint gauge tomorrow). It looks like one-step will finish it well, then time for ceramic. All panel gaps seem great as well as the typical problem fit areas (Rear trunk, lower side piano black, door trim piece alignment, rubber seals).

congrats. I too had a bad experience with the paperwork leading up to the delivery day but then the actual delivery was nice and smooth. Those guys at the studio are just way too relaxed. When dealing with people's finances, they should be responding to all the customer's questions and handling all the steps promptly. Having to constantly prod them about the next steps was annoying.

The car looks great. Are you planning on buying a second set of wheels for the summer? The 19s look good enough but the 21" aero blade wheels is what I've been looking at for the second set.

I learned my lesson on low profile wheels on my Tesla Model 3 performance- the super low profile tires did not suit me well at all - the ride was very harsh, efficiency was bad, and I had 6 (yes six) completely blown sidewalls in 18000 miles on the pothole ridden streets around Chicago- not fun and I’m not doing that again. I sought out the 19’s specifically this time, I actually prefer how they look (I know I’m weird) so I’m going stick with them, for the ride and the efficiency.

If I had wound up with 21s (due to inventory) I would have sought to trade them down.

Congrats on your new ride. Funny, I came over from a Tesla M3P as well. I cratered 6 RIMS (not just tires) over the first 20,000 miles in my M3P in the NYC metro area before switching to 18-inch wheels. I did the same as you with my ‘25 AGT…19” ALL THE WAY!!

You have time for this ... in Chicagoland, suggest considering a Summer / Winter set. I purchased pre-owned with two sets of wheels:
19" OEM Aero Range wheels with Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 EV winter tires
20" OEM Aero Lite Stealth wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires
Fortunately, I've been able to avoid potholes so far.

I made a little composite of the different Lucid tire options:

Don't need time as it's personally a non-starter for me. 21's on my Tesla were a nightmare in downtown Chicago (work). I spent hours and hours waiting for roadside service. I don't feel a burning need to upgrade to 20, and I don't want to deal with having them changed out by someone twice a year, and storage year-round of a second wheel set - I'm good with the 19's which will do good year round.

As it has been recommended before on this thread. I keep my 21 inch summer tires inflated to 45 lbs and have not had any problem in nearly 3 years.

Missed that recommendation in this thread. Good to hear, do you drive in downtown Chicago a lot?

No. I live in Portland Oregon. Try not to go downtown too much because of crime, and bad streets. Live several miles away from downtown. I watch for potholes. I have gone into some of them and been OK with my 21's inflated to 45 lbs. Others have reported the same good results with their tires inflated 3 lbs above recommendations
