Gravity test drives?

Was their keyfob working yet or did they still have to use the keycard? I drove it the first day they had it so fob wasn’t working yet but I wondered if they had got it working.
The fob was working on the showroom car, but I’m not sure about the one my wife drove. I was in the back and the SA was shotgun. Didn’t pay close attention!

Scottsdale, AZ has one to test and I did so today.
I test drove the Gravity at the Scottsdale Studio last Thursday. Very impressive to say the least. My SA did have the fob issue but the key card got us rolling.

Just did one yesterday in Southern California. This time I got to be a passenger, and checked the trays on the second row while the car was in motion. Works well and isn't wobbly at all, however if the driver takes a harder corner turn devices like phones or tablets will slide off the notched plastic area since the plastic is slick. They should put a rubber insert into that slot for more grip on the device, but you can of course do that with aftermarket parts. Or you can have a suction mount which will also work.

Some quick thoughts: The 2nd row lights have a dimmer functionality. Also the screen that controls AC was very responsive. The 2nd row windows can only go down roughly half of the window height. Lots of legroom and the third row is still massive, easily bigger than the R1S.

One interesting thing is that the SA seemed confused there wasn't carplay in the Gravity yet. She said she got to try it at the last auto show and it worked well. Maybe a beta build was shown there? Or perhaps she was confused. TBD
So…the instruction manual clearly states the trays should NOT be used when car is moving.

Now, I know that’s absurd and probably just there for the lawyers, but just thought I’d mention.

Should probably read “tray tables must be stowed and in the locked position for take off and landing” 😎

Did a test drive at X Takeover at San Mateo CA today. Gravity drove beautifully and the sales folks were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Really glad to be sure that the car is well set up. The four wheel steering was awesome and the suspension seemed very well tuned. Can’t wait to get my G DE asap

I’d imagine they could cause great harm in the event of a car accident if left down.
