Gravity test drive impressions, Millbrae CA showroom

Coming from the X as well (placed order on 9/5), had 2 and was finally over all of the software glitches it had. If i am going to have that, i might as well get the Gravity and atleast EV in style with software bugs.... right?

I never drive our X now. I realize an X is cheaper than a GGT now, but I can’t think of any reason one would buy an X over a Gravity (putting aside bugs and early issues). My wife still loves her X for some reason. Still working to get her to “accept” our second GGT that’s in production.

Wife can't drive the Gravity at this point due to seat adjustments and her short stature creates issues with her foot dangling off the floor when using accelerator or brake pedals. We're stuck with the X as her daily for now.

P.S. - tall heel shoes seem to help. Now there's a whole new excuse to go shopping for shoes.

That’s probably because Tesla knows from experience the residual is super low and/or they just have a low residual. As an X owner who bought an X in 2022 for $95,000 that’s worth $47,500 or so today, I can tell you it doesn’t hold its value! That said, the residual on a Gravity 36 mo lease is something like 55%…
