The Gravity may have HEPA filters, but we don’t know for sure. I can’t find any mention of it in the manual and don’t recall seeing HEPA in any docs I’ve seen. Does anyone have evidence?
I honestly forgot about it too, which is an oversight on my part since I've had ionization and PM monitoring in cars for the past 8 years or so.
The fragrant mercaptans that make up the skunk smell (and also the class of odorizer added to natural gas) are very small molecules and will not be filtered out by HEPA filters -- they can filter out dust, bacteria, and even viruses but most things that smell bad are too small to be caught by a physical filter. (They can be removed by activated charcoal filters, but these have pretty short lives.)

Last night I accidentally ran over a fresh roadkill skunk and the car immediately filled with burned rubber smell such that my wife considered walking the last mile, but ended up just holding her breath to almost fainting.
The car was left outside overnight and was put thru carwash in the morning. The smell is still present and quite notable.
Any tips on speeding up the de-skunking process, or just let it run its course?

Dog owner here, as well. I’d recommend going with the commercial products specifically designed for skunks. However, the hydrogen peroxide method does indeed work, but beware of discoloration. The ingredients are available from 24 hr drug/grocery stores when you need to de-skunk your dog at midnight. I never want to go through that again!As an owner of many dogs who’ve been skunked over the years, the last just a few weeks ago, I stopped using tomato juice around 1990. Joking/ stains aside it just takes the edge off. Far more effective, especially for inanimate objects: Mix 1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide, ¼ cup baking soda, and 1–2 tsp liquid dish soap. Apply to affected areas (interior fabrics, carpets, exterior surfaces, let it sit ~10–15 min, then blot and rinse/dry.

I’ve done exactly the same - at midnight in the middle of winter. Made the mistake of trying to quickly get my dog in the shower in our bedroom so I could at least use warm water - all this did was guarantee that our entire house reeked. Poor guy caught a face full of spray from a mama skunk in our backyard when I let him out to pee - probably never saw it coming. This concoction was definitely more effective and cleaner overall than tomato juice.
