Depends on intended length of ownership and if you’re leasing.

For example, I am leasing. Just got ceramic coat and love it. Got it to make it easier to clean and so it looks extra sharp when I wash it. $1,050 cost for every external part of car.

0% chance I am paying anything for PPF since I am leasing and it will belong to someone else in 36 months.

Our R1S has PPF but we own it and I intend to run it into the ground. Literally. And figuratively!

Also, it ultimately comes down to whether you really care that much.

Yes. Pretty good but not all the way up as the installer didn’t have enough material

Let me know if your car whilst facing sunlight has a weird vertical stripe all over windshield from the windshield protection film. Pic attached.

Just wanted to share my new GGT with front PPF + full ceramic. The car hasn't been fun to deal with on the tech issues, but hoping software improvements will happen soon and I won't get locked out on my upcoming road trip...

Looks fantastic!!!! Love that color combo. Don’t mind the platinum with white. Enjoy!!!
 
Yeah. If anyone likes the work, or has criticism (welcomed), let me know. My first time investing in my car's paint like this. Shop was Concours Auto Spa in Torrance, CA. Not sure if it's worth much but you can mention you saw a local white gravity on the forums got work done there.

The cutouts for US sensors look excellent and honestly I can't tell they did anything (which I am assuming is a good thing as to how seamless the work was done). Again, tips or pointers on what to worry about/look for are welcomed.
 
Just picked up my Gravity after graphene coating. I must say, the green color is way deeper, shinier, and (dare I say) prettier than just delivered or just washed. Definitely a must do!
