Yes, it is likely to incorporate sliding seats.Hi
I just noticed on the Gravity configurator, when you select 5 vs 7 seats, the middle floor mats change.
It seems weird. Look at these images.
Your thoughts?
thanks
Why wouldn’t the middle seat fold flat into the floor regardless?5-Seater → 2nd row folds flat in vertical position.
7-Seater → 2nd row folds flat in vertical position OR folds 45° and slides forward to allow access to 3rd-row.
Going by the animation on the website, the middle seats do not fold into the floor like the third row. That's if you can trust the animation as a realistic representation of in-real-life.Why wouldn’t the middle seat fold flat into the floor regardless?
Besides it looks like it would difficult to walk across that middle floor mat with all those cut outs. Now that I notice it, it looks strange to me.
It's what happens when information is scarce and people are over thinking how the vehicle is configured. Are people really worrying about tripping on a floor mat?

I can assure you it is not. That 3rd row looks beefier than the 2nd row.
Correct. The second row seat pans slide forward and down, then the seat backs fold forward into the void created by the seat pans vacating. I've never seen that type of folding mechanism but it makes for a full, flat, huge cargo space with all the seats folded.Going by the animation on the website, the middle seats do not fold into the floor like the third row. There doesn't seem to be a recessed area for the middle seats to go into like the third row.
The mats on the middle row seem pretty flush with the floor and in place.
I don't see a tripping hazard, but ... anything is possible.
