This will be my first winter with an ev.

How do you plan to remove or minimize any road salt or other road corrosive road treatments that could harm the suspension of the Gravity?

The openings to the suspension are small, unlike on an ICE car where the underbody is wide open and easy to spray.

I don't see any drainage holes in the suspension area either. So, I'm also wondering how any liquid entering the suspension openings might drain.
 
I might have figured out why most of us are periodically getting sensor and camera alerts in the Gravity.

I am attaching a picture that shows the problem I am describing.

The vehicle intermittently sends sensor and high‑beam alerts, and I believe fogging inside the rearview mirror assembly may be the root cause. This housing, located near the top center of the windshield, contains multiple sensors and cameras. Condensation in this area can interfere with sensor accuracy, leading to errors in driver‑assistance features such as lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams.

At my last visit to the service center, the sensors were reset. Unfortunately, that did not resolve the issue. I continue to receive a large number of sensor and camera alerts.

My assumption is that repeated sensor faults such as fogged cameras generating constant errors, may overwhelm the system, triggering reboots or freezes that manifest as black screens.

Lucid’s production of latest Gravity environment in Arizona emphasizes hot, dry desert conditions, but does not adequately stress‑test sensor housings against humidity, condensation, or cold‑rain cycles common in East Coast and Midwest climates

Thoughts?

Well, to be honest, I don’t plan on anything special. We’ve had our X with air suspension for many winters and it’s been fine. I have ceramic coating on our Gravity and will likely just hose it down and then get it washed.

If there are areas that don’t drain, etc, not sure…hasn’t been an issue with our X or R1S and they’ve both spent a good amount of time in Western MD where they use real road salt, etc and there’s much more snow (100”/season) than in the close in DMV region.

And yes, I know, if you’re in CA or Utah 100” is nothing, but in the mid Atlantic, that’s a really solid season…❄️

are you running different sizes F and R? I noticed on their site they sell them in a set of 4 of the same size which, of course, isn't what the factory specced. But as long as the OD's are the same it will be fine. And since Lucid offer different sizes there is overlap anyways. I wonder if there is anything in the software when they are ordered with the factory to adjust the speed/mileage based on the wheel size, and if you swap them to a different size you'll be off ever so slightly.

Edit: nevermind, i see in the details they list them as staggered:
Wheels sizes:
Front: 20 x 8.5 ET 44
Rear: 21 x 9.5 ET 51
PCD: 5 x 120
CB: 64.1 mm
 
I saw a Zenith Red Air DE up at Kirkwood Ski Resort yesterday plugged into one of the Chargepoint L2 chargers they miraculously have up there at 7800ft elevation
Anyone on here claim it?

Nope! We’re in the GDE on this trip.
 
I'm just north of Chicago where the demographics are great for expensive cars, homes, you name it. After being available for a full year, I've yet to see a Gravity on the road. I keep my eyes open and do see more of the Air, but the lack of seeing a Gravity after this much time is concerning to me.

I live near La Jolla, CA. One of the richest neighborhoods in SoCal (and the country). I see tons of EVs including quite a few Air but I've only seen a couple Gravity that weren't at the SC so far. Just saw another one yesterday, someone pulling into a school to pick up their kids.

I don't really think it means much other than Lucid has only recently been getting many delivered, I don't think it's really concerning TBH.
 
I’ve had my Gravity for a bit over five months and have watched every day for another Gravity.

Today, I finally saw one! I was so shocked, I don’t know if it was bronze (I think it was) or black. I did wave though.

Lucid delivered 15,841 cars in 2025. That’s Air and Gravity. Including to KSA. We know Gravity deliveries were “well into the triple digits” (eg hundreds) by 8/13/2025 based on a post to X by Nick Twork. I’d be shocked if they delivered 1,000 Gravity/month after that. That is, 3,000 Gravity deliveries in 2025 would be a big number if it’s that high - total swag.

So, I am not surprised folks aren’t seeing many. They really didn’t ramp until Q4.
 
TODAY, January 9 was the day! I saw my first Gravity in the wild on Sheridan Road in Glencoe, IL just south of the Lake Shore Country Club at about 2:50pm. It was an Abyss Black one. Yeah, so glad I finally saw one! It really is an awesome looking machine!
 
Saw my first Gravity in Santa Cruz County today, a Quantum Grey/Stealth w/ 22/23's parked at the Chaminade. Looked nice!
We were there for a memorial and my wife wanted to go inside the venue and only let me stall to stare at it for a short while ;)
 
For the first time, I happened to see two Gravity’s in the same day in Gilbert and Phoenix. One was black/stealth and the other grey/stealth. After seeing dozens come through the service center I hope to find many more!
 
Follow up to my post earlier this week about seeing ONE GRAVITY on the road. for the first time in the five months I’ve had mine.

In the last six days I’ve now seen FIVE Gravity on the road near me and I know four are different as they were different colors. Crazy! But it’s cool.

I then read the CEO’s comment at CES saying the vast majority of cars they’re selling now are Gravity. The dam has broken, I guess.

What location are you seeing so many Gravities??

I am in the South Bay (SF) and I rarely see a Gravity even though I’m in driving distance of TWO service centers…
