Gravity in the wild

You mean like “look, there is another idiot, I mean early adopter over there” 😂
Just joking, no offense, I’d be waving too.
All my best friends are idiots.

Extremely smart idiots.

Nice!...interesting that at that angle the black one appears bigger...perhaps the ride height maybe, not sure, but even the width looks slightly different

They're both set to drop to low suspension height upon exit, so they should have been at the same height. I was more centered on the green one in taking the picture, so that might be the reason the black one looks lower? Notice that the Air to the right side also looks wider than the green Gravity which, of course, it isn't.

I've followed them both on the road. To me, the green one looks very muscular from the rear . . . but the black one looks downright menacing. And its stealth trim with the 22/23" wheels and those huge exposed brake rotors just add to the effect.

We drove from there to a cookie shop elsewhere in the mall. There was a guy with his family sitting at an outside table staring at the green one as it pulled in and leaning over to say something to his wife who also looked around. When he saw the black one pull in next to it, his neck almost snapped. He probably knew something about them, as he was in a blacked-out BMW i7. He never asked anything about them, though, as we walked past their table.

Agree on the looks just from photo. I would’ve loved black - it’s just bad a—. But I am leasing, so wasn’t going to ppf and ceramic, so didn’t want to deal with cleaning it.

Stealth for all colors looks best to me and it’s the one “regret” I have about taking platinum to get delivery much earlier.

Maybe that could be addressed with a tinted film that might not cost too much for a leased vehicle?

Great idea. I got a PPF estimate for $2,000 for effectively a “blackout” but didn’t feel it was worth it. I AM getting ceramic coating and am hoping to negotiate for a tint on those when the car is actually there…

Probably thought you were from the mafia 🤣

Saw my first Gravity in the wild in downtown Burlingame. Couldn’t park mine next to it without blocking traffic, but now think I should have 🤣

Here in Chicago and still have not seen a Gravity as of this date. What is interesting to me is shortly after Tesla released the Cybertruck, I was seeing Cybertrucks all the time. Sometimes several in one day. We are ten months into Gravity and I've still not seen one. If Cybertruck is such a flop, what does that say about the Gravity? I think some of it is different level of expectation.

On a happier note, I talked a cousin of mine into buying an Air. He had owned a Telsa S for many years but after Elon became part of DOGE, he had had enough and told me he was thinking of trading in for a Rivian, and I told him the better buy would be the Air. A few weeks later he test drove the Air and that is all it took. He loves his new Air and says it is a much better car then the Tesla Model S! Hopefully the tides are beginning to turn.
I saw a Gravity going down the main drag in Libertyville (sub north of Chicago) in August, just after I put in my order. None since.

For the first time ever, I spotted another Gravity. I took off at the light right when they pulled up next to me, so I only saw them out of the corner of my eye. Young fella, who had the hugest grin on his face probably from also seeing another Gravity. I honked twice to say waazzuppp.

Fancy Costco in SLO apparently

Now this would be mighty welcome down our way.

And my "love" comment was for the dog. What a cutie.

I haven’t seen a Gravity in the Burlington,Ma area, yet, but I know there are at least 5 Airs who frequent the area.

On another side, in the past two weeks, I’ve seen about 15 EVs in Mexico outside Mexico City, with most of them being BYD.

You didn't invite me? Could've made it a Lucid thruple 😂
She was just charging on the way down to and up from Santa Barbara.

Today was the first Gravity I’ve seen in the wild...
On rte 30 in Westborough, MA, heading towards town center from Southborough.

Spotted a Green/Tahoe on small wheels empty in Manhattan, NY on 26th street, front plate bracket was empty. Speak up if you are here!

I may have backed up to confirm.

I'm based in NYC and still have yet to see a Gravity with actual plates (presumably everything I've seen is being used for test drives/dealer).

On the other hand, have started seeing a lot more Airs.

I finally saw my first one today! Any owner on the forum with a Black/Platinum GDE happened to be charging in the Tesla SC in Riverhead NY Sunday in the evening?
