Gravity [Dream Edition] Reservations Tracker

I am also debating the range drop from 450 for the gravity GT with 20” tires to the 370 range of the dream edition. Does anyone know the tire size of the dream edition and whether we can still choose wheel size that will get a bit more range?

I picked the smaller wheels… 20” pretty sure… 410 miles range… DE

We went yesterday evening to the Scottsdale studio to see their brand new (as of yesterday) Gravity GT. It's Aurora Green, Tahoe interior, 21/22" wheels. They have it set to the maximum ride height.

Our SA told us it's been busy and if we wanted more time with the car it's best to come 1-2 hours before closing. We spent over an hour there.

We had seen an earlier version at the Electric Expo in Phoenix. At that time my wife was not pleased with the driver's seat. We had tested the Air GT as a proxy to gauge Lucid's performance and handling since all of the reviews basically said the Gravity is even better. My wife is much shorter (around 5'3") than I am and has long arms. She absolutely loves that the Air's seat can tilt down and shorten the seat depth enough to relieve pressure on her thighs while positioning her well for both peddles and steering. My Model X is uncomfortable for her to drive for long periods because the seat will not drop low enough. The Expo Gravity was disappointing because she couldn't get it to go low enough. It was still better than the X, but not great.

The Scottsdale version surprised her. Although not quite the perfect fit that the Air gave her, she was delighted it had a better range of adjustment.

The SA walked us through a lot of the software, including the demo videos, the immersive Lucid Spaces and Sanctuary. The SS Pro performed wonderfully.

The seat adjustment screen has 3 memories for saving PASSENGER seat positions (don't know if these are 3 per profile or 3 overall). This is a very welcome feature for us. We do a lot of long drives, and we are always having to readjust the passenger seat when we swap drivers. Also, saw in settings that Easy Entry can also set ride height.

Our SA told us that they're not seeing pre-VINs coming through in our DE configuration with Yosemite interior and did not expect pre-VINs earlier than late July or August. If we wanted the Tahoe interior we could likely get one much sooner. The other feature that would delay is the smallest wheel set--not relevant to us.

Originally we did not want Tahoe because the pictures all showed it too orangy. Seeing the colors in person alleviated that concern. It's still not our favorite--we originally had chosen Ojai--but it's now about equal to Yosemite.

I was also glad to see the mid-size wheels. They look really good. In the showroom, with the ride height up, it has a very commanding presence. It seemed a lot larger than the Expo car...outdoors with lots of space around it and at a lower ride height.

HUD was functional--though only showing gear and speed limit sitting in the studio.

Nav and Music can be used simultaneously. On either screen. Next turn info also shows up in the driver's view area (for reference, if you think about the big screen like the Air's segmented screen, they show on the right side of the middle section).

We are opting to try for an earlier build, so please change our information in the DE tracker to Tahoe with 21/22 wheels.

Also, probably too much of a hassle since people can't self edit their entries, but it would great to have a stage column (Order Confirmed, In Production, Preparing for Delivery) too

I switched from a DE to a GT w/o Tech Package as I could get it 2 months sooner and I decided I didn't need the HUD. I added my reservation to the GGT order tracker - please remove it from the DE tracker. FWIW, I got a call yesterday morning (yes, Sunday morning) from my SA indicating that it would be shipping to Chicago in 1-2 weeks, prep in Chicago, and then they are shipping it to me in MN. Hoping to have it delivered the last week of July or first week of August.

Somewhat reluctantly, I am changing my DE back to a GT. After a bit of back and forth with my SA, he found an exact match GT that was built yesterday 7/7 (with Technology package somehow...) but in a GT. The horsepower would be nice, but I just want my Gravity!!

Now to get this thing from Arizona to Georgia.

I filled in my info in the tracker, but hate to say that it's possible I'll take my name off the list later today. Rivian has stock available, and an incentive running through the end of this month (July). I went and test drove one yesterday and they are nice, and I can get delivery by end of July. If they will take my Air and give me a 3 year lease on an R1S-tri, and I can have it in <2 weeks, I will probably take it.

It really bothers me to get strung along (for months now) with no apparent end in sight. I wouldn't be surprised if deliveries don't start happening until the week before the EV incentive runs out at the end of September. So maybe my Abyss/Tahoe will be one of those orphans someone else can pick up!

I'm getting close to being in the same boat. Just asked my SA of there's a configuration change that can help move things along. Test driving Rivian tomorrow and taking a look at the Cadillacs again. My lease extension is up soon so will need to do something.
