I'll be a little rude; how hard is it to read the forums here? Everything you raised is known.

1/ check here in the forums, only the Dream Editions came with two key fobs and even with those the 2nd key fob was sent later
2/ again have you just not been reading?? Lucid has said CarKey is coming later for Gravity
3/ upgrade car SW to 3.3.20, key fob issues fixed
3/ yes key cards will drive the car you have to put one in the phone wireless charger tray. Again, search and read
4/ upgrade car SW to 3.3.20, key fob issues fixed
5/ upgrade car SW to 3.3.20
6/ upgrade car SW to 3.3.20

So much whining, yet no ability to search and read. Sheesh

You can order a different car too. It’s easy. I’m glad you think it’s reasonable to get one key fob for a $100k car and have the option to pay up for a second one. I guess they only want to sell to single people, or does Lucid realize that many people might be married and aren’t going to share fobs - you know, like every other car? It’s a weird thing to try to cut costs on for sure, like not including a charging cable for an EV.

The recent message from the interim CEO establishing a site for owners to report difficulties and issues with their Gravities will hopefully be a Huge step forward as I am convinced Lucid is not aware of all the issues with their products which, while disappointing at least now we have a means of making sure they have the information to advance their product line. Call me an optimist but I love the cars in spite of their software deficiencies and remember it took Tesla nearly 10 years to work through all their software issues.

Problem resolved? Many people have complained directly about not getting a second key and you shouldn’t have gotten one for free no matter how much kicking and screaming you did to get it. You sure they didn’t charge you the $250 for it as others have had to pay to get a second key?

I think its reasonable for a car to have a defined set of stuff it comes with. if you are too lazy to read the forums then ask ChatGPT or Copilot for what the car comes with. Or you should have bought a DE that came with two fobs and a portable charger. Whining about it here is on the other hand not something I think is reasonable.

My 2024 model X came with no key fobs. At least the Gravity came with one. But, why can’t Lucid get entrance access to their cars to work flawlessly and predictably is beyond me.

have you tried it with the latest SW release 3.3.20? Cause it works flawlessly for me after that update

I'm guessing that Lucid figured the "phone as a key" feature would be out by now, which is why they planned for only a single fob.

I was told they had hoped to have both PaaK and CarPlay by end of 2026 but bug fixes are taking a higher priority now. Which is good IMO.

So…I do but I don’t have a Gravity so I’m not as focused on it as the Air. You don’t have to be so defensive in your response here and the 3 or 4 other sequential responses. Not everyone reads everything posted here.

Aside from that, my original message stands in that I’m surprised there’s no phone key! It’s not something that would’ve even occurred to me until I read it in this thread.

I'd be shocked if at this point the majority of Gravity buyers are even on here.

its really really easy these days to use ChatGPT or Copilot to look stuff up. So yeah I think its just lazy to not do so and then complain. Not defensive at all, just surprised people can't be bothered to spend 5 mins before buying a car.

Damn man, tone it down! Not everyone is aware forums exist, especially in the space Lucid is playing in right now let alone know about ChatGPT or CoPilot.

Just because you’re savvy enough to know where to go and the tools to use, it’s unreasonable to expect that everyone else should know also and then constantly ridicule them over it.

Give me a break. What space is it Lucid is playing in where perspective luxury car buyers can't do a few mins of research. Sorry but the original post is nothing but dumb whining and no I do not agree its unreasonable to expect people to be able to do some basic research esp. in an age where 1B people use ChatGPT daily.

I’ve been on these forums for a bit now and I didn’t realize it only came with one fob. That is a bit dumb given no Paak but whatever. Glad I found out now. I’ll try to negotiate for one or just buy another. Who knows, maybe PaaK will be available by the time my vehicle arrives. Anyway, glad I read the OP’s post. Separately, one of the keys (no pun intended) to happiness is expecting less of people (expecting people will research as much you, as an example).
