Also, update on my door handles. Passenger rear seems to be permanently "out" now. Def something the SC needs to look at.

Door Handles are presenting erratically and sporadically. I seem to have the most trouble with the two passenger side handles. Sometimes they present, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they don't present but pushing on them can make them present. Other times not. I had a related issue the other day with the passenger rear - when it didn't present, I had to use the interior release to open the door and let my daughter in. But then when we started driving, there was a wind noise coming from her door, as though it were still ajar or the window was down, which it wasn't. We had to pull over and finally realized that the window must not have "burped" down when the door opened, so when we closed the door it got stuck outside the weatherstripping. We rolled the window down, closed the door, then rolled it up to resolve the issue. It exhibited the same behavior when we got out later, and even put a little scrape on the trim around the window due to the pane rubbing it. I hope that will buff out?

My Key Fob is acting pretty erratically, and lately I've had to just use the key card to start the car. I got a warning yesterday (real or no?) that the key fob battery is low. I've had the car a month. Also, the key fob does not appear to be able to lock or unlock the car at all. I don't know if this is related to the battery or not. It would be very frustrating to know that the battery is dead after a month.

Preheating the car with the app is not working reliably at all. In fact, I'm not sure it's working at all. It looks like I've turned the seat and steering wheel heaters on, but when I get in the car things are not warm and when I use my customized button to heat the seats it does not appear they were on at all.

Easy Entry for the front seat is so, so erratic. Sometimes it moves, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes when it doesn't I can use "restore" to put it back in position, but most of the time that button is greyed out or not there so I have to do it manually.

One small annoyance with my delivery service center: They installed a front license plate holder but didn't give me screws. I just got my permanent tags and had to order screws on Amazon. The ones on the back are pretty specific (black with allen key heads) so I hope I ordered the right ones for the front to match.... not the end of the world but just, grrr, come on.

Ugh. Sorry about all these.

For preheating, I have this issue too. The air comes on and works, but seats and wheel don’t heat.

Easy entry - same thing. Just not consistent.

For front plate - I was told it doesn’t screw on and is supposed to be held on by super strong Velcro (I believe). This is the way it works on our Rivian too. Of course, I forgot to have it done st delivery so I don’t know. But I don’t believe there are screws in the plastic bag the frame came in.

This has happened to me on the driver window since day one. Happens about 80% of the time but they couldn’t get it to happen when it was in service. I’m convinced it’s a seal issue and have asked them to look at it again when my car goes in today for the rear window issue.

It's not like there isn't rain falling to start obscuring my vision immediately, but it's frustrating, esp on a brand new 140K car.

I'm getting Ceramic Coat in a few weeks, hopefully that helps rain to sheet off in general a little bit better.

Ceramic will take care of it. I got ceramic and it just beads and wipes off now.

They have a customer care number and they do take down all the info to give to the teams internally and will reach back out if they need more. It’s not realistic to expect one person to listen to every owner complain - yes, most are real issues, but they have to triage and leverage resources. They DO also monitor the forums and Reddit. That’s better than Tesla or Rivian in my experience. Tesla won’t even pick up the phone.

As @HC_79 said, if you can give a time when the issue happened, it’s much more helpful to them so they can look at logs.

Not trying to blindly defend Lucid, but also trying to be realistic about how they can provide scaled service, be responsive, etc. No perfect answer here. Very hard to scale.

I was handed the front plate holder and screws when I took delivery. So, there are screws for it. Fortunately, Georgia, Florida, and most of the southeast states don’t require a front license plate, thank goodness. I put the holder in a bag with the screws and tossed it in my garage for the next owner. I don’t know what I’d do if I lived somewhere where they made you mount one of those front plates…probably move.

whelp- one week later and I am experiencing issues

the major concern is that when I tried my DD Pro for the first time on thanksgiving the button did absolutely nothing
I was on the PA Tpike, the Blue route, the Schuykill and AC expressway and nada the whole time through - not even cruise control

My range for the trip was really low- I was going 3 miles per KWH for 106 miles and lost 31%, which I believe is 342 miles of range- sure it was in the mid 40's so I didnt expect 450miles but 342 is awful

I have a call from service coming in today to address both issues

this morning I stopped at Wawa to get a coffee and when I came out and drove off I noticed the heater was only shooting out cold air when set at 76f (it was fine on the way to wawa) I jacked it up all the way and barely got lukewarm air
did a reboot at work and it seems ok now

The DDPro button on the dpad can take many, many presses before it engages. Sometimes it works on one press sometimes on the 8th press. It seems to be a fairly common issue on the forum, but we are also in the bugs thread so things get amplified.

Cold air at first seems to be the norm. Have to crank mine to 80+ and in about 30-60 seconds it gets hot.

Did you visually check if the wipers are attached properly? I was getting streaks on bottom half of driver's side wiper and found one of hooks wasn't properly around the blade. Had to manually force it in.

Drove a friend to the airport in Orlando today. Can anyone explain to me when information does and doesn’t show up in this area of the screen? Is it only when navigation is active?

Seems sort of random. Some times the music information is there when Nav is highlighted on the cockpit. Sometimes not.

Agree. Usually my music info is there, which is great, but it went out on me the other day, which was really annoying. I had to keep getting out of nav to see what was playing when I was interested.

Otherwise, I don't think anything goes there.
 
So I went to take my lucid gravity that I have for 45 or so days to the Torrance SC to repair a build quality issue that I flagged on delivery day as well as key cards that do not start the car. I obviously needed a loaner and was provided an Air that does not have NACS. When I asked for an adapter to charge at my tesla charger at home, I was told that they do not make any and finding an electrify America stall to charge. Is this common practice? How do they not provide adapters for gravity customers who clearly will have NACS setups at home. Beyond ridiculous! Genuinely want to return my car as it has been this nonsense and dealing with daily popups of errors. Had my car alarm go off yesterday and walked to see my frunk open for some reason.

Teslas come with the adapter you need, its just NACS to J1772. You can get them for $15 on Amazon.

It is just ridiculous that they do not provide them for gravity owners. I also do not appreciate that every step of the way has to have so many problems.

They do provide them for the Gravity owners, both a NACS to J1772 and a NACS to CCS1.

I forget where mine were - I think in the center storage pushed to the back.

I mean an adapter for the Air loaner, to be able to use a NACS charger. My point being that they give Air loaners when Gravity's are in the SC.

Sorry, I must have missed that part of the thread. And I made a mistake in that they provide J1772 to NACS & CC1 To NACS for Gravity, which is the opposite for what is needed for the Air.

ha my Air loaner broke down a day after I got it, been driving my old Tesla for a while. Things happen.
