Running 3.3.5, updated the fob using the app. Last night car did not recognize the fob at all. No lights, no handles presenting, nothing. Since I was showing a friend the car I used my phone to unlock the car. With him sitting in the drivers seat fob not detected came up solid but we weren’t driving it anyway. Later after they had gone it still did not repond to the fob. Popped the battery and replaced it and the car is back to normal operation.

New work around alert: reset the fob ir replace the battery before trying to show off this car. I feel for you guys. It is ridiculous we are still talking about for after 6 months of customers ownership.

We were running errands in the newer Gravity today and encountered a couple of weird things. On one occasion when getting back into the car the HUD display did not come up when starting the car. I checked Settings, and the HUD was turned on with the brightness set at about 30%. I turned the HUD off and then back on, but there was still no display. We got it to return by doing the soft (X/mic/brake) reset.

My partner was driving the car to dinner using his profile. We decided I would drive home from dinner, as he had gotten a phone call that was still underway. When I tried to activate my profile it would not respond and remained stuck on my partner's profile. I tried the guest profile, and still no response. He finally finished the call, at which time the car switched to my profile. Apparently using the dominant phone of the last profile to which the car was set blocks switching the profile.

Is this a bug or by design?

Also, Tidal is the default music source for my profile, and Spotify is the default for my partner's profile. But every time either of us gets into the car, the audio defaults to Sirius XM, although neither of us ever uses it except when following the news on a long road trip. So parr of the startup routine now includes resetting the music source before getting underway. And it's a real pain in the ass.

We activated the Sirius trial in only the newer Gravity. I think it started doing this around that time, so I was wondering if this was something Sirius got Lucid to agree to do to pump Sirius during the trail period or whether it's a new software gremlin. I'm actually hoping for the latter, because the former would be really sleazy of Lucid.

We're getting into season down here, and restaurants get packed very quickly. So if we're running afternoon errands we sometimes catch an early dinner before heading home. Plus we haven't fully adjusted to last weekend's time change yet.

I have to say this was not the part of the post that I thought might yield some feedback.

Has anyone noticed their turns signals are have quit auto canceling after any but the sharpest turns?

This happened to me yesterday in my GGT. Car remained on "right turn" for about 10 minutes.
Video feed was active and showed the right side even when I signaled left and made a left turn.
I was turning left/right searching for parking in an almost-full multi-storey parking lot.
I made many turns but it refused to cancel. After about 10 minutes it went away.

Definitely a SW bug.

Also ran into another bug - the backseat temperature control screen sometimes shows Celsius and sometimes Fahrenheit.

I've had Sirius since day one bc we had it in my previous car, but the Gravity has always been wonky for me about the inputs when turning the car on. It will on occasion stay with the last input, but most times, it goes back to Sirius. I do listen a lot for sports and some music, so it doesn't bother me so much. I just switch back to Bluetooth or Tidal if I was listening to something on one of those sources when I get in and it hs changed on me. It's one of those bugs I know is so minor to them that I don't even worry about complaining. I just want the big stuff handled first, we can circle back to stuff like this later for me.

yes, all on its own. this behavior has been noted by several others. it's not a serious bug, because I just hit "restore" in the seating menu and it all popped back up. But it was odd just to have the seat decide that it was time for me to take a nap.

I’ve not gotten a single Vehicle Offline error for Gravity, ever, and my car wakes up from the app in less than 5 seconds, so faster than my wife’s Volvo.

This was also my experience until something changed and now it’s almost always Vehicle Offline if not at home on WiFi. I even checked while I was driving (at a stop light) and it still said offline even though maps, Tidal, etc were all working so clearly the car’s overall cell connectivity was fine.

I hope this gets resolved before it gets really cold out and I can’t preheat my car before I leave the office.

I've had that happen a few times. In my own car and in the loaner I'm driving now on 3.3.5. It just starts laying all the way back. I don't have any seat settings that are like that so it's not mixing up memorized settings.

I've had this happen 2× as well within <2 months of ownership of the vehicle. Strangely enough both times my kids were at the same time trying to get into the backseat from the driver's side and had to hop out quickly since it wasn't clear whether the motors would stop.

you're an outlier then with your Rivian and Tesla. I know owners of both brands who've had to reset them many times to clear out random quirks that pop up.

One major difference is that Teslas can reboot and keep self driving while rebooting the infotainment… which is,,, you know,,, kinda nice. Love my new Lucid but it could improve the way it does this.

It seems to be luck of the draw with all the models but agree that the Gravity probably takes first prize in how many times it needs a reboot. We all know Lucid loves a trophy for being number one at everything but I think they missed the memo that said "We don't want the gold trophy for most bugs introduced into a production vehicle"

To be fair, 3.3.5 and 3.3.8 seem to have started to stabilize things a lot (at least for me). I haven't seen a "key fob not detected" message since installing 3.3.5 and I think in the past 2 weeks I've seen one random "AR HUD" false error message show up, that's all! no more USB charging messages etc. Even the vibe lighting seems to be holding its preference 90% of the time. The only thing I'm really noticing on 3.3.8 is Halo Secure seems messed up, doesn't work 90% of the time and removing and re-inserting the USB doesn't solve anything, rebooting doesn't seem to fix it nor does the eject or format USB work in the menu. I also updated my fob when it was available to do so in the Mobile App.

I have yet to get 3.3.8… but even on 3.3.5 mine seems very stable since updating FOB also… doesn’t always unlock and present handles on walkup… but when it doesn’t I simply press a fob button like unlock…and it wakes up fine… and with fob still in pocket it shifts into gear and works reliably.

New warnings for me today that don’t seem like trivial error messages. They don’t just go away and stay up as warnings. If they’ve been mentioned here before they didn’t turn up in my search.

“Use Brakes to Hold” and “Dream Drive Limited.” Both say to schedule service. I can verify that Hold is not working (and also that I am set to Hold and not Creep).

I don’t know if a sleep will cure, but I will try.

New warnings for me today that don’t seem like trivial error messages. They don’t just go away and stay up as warnings. If they’ve been mentioned here before they didn’t turn up in my search.

“Use Brakes to Hold” and “Dream Drive Limited.” Both say to schedule service. I can verify that Hold is not working (and also that I am set to Hold and not Creep).

I don’t know if a sleep will cure, but I will try.

We got the "Dream Drive Limited" warning yesterday for the first time. However, it disappeared shortly on its own.

Are you on Android or iOS? Maybe delete your phone Lucid app, reinstall and log back in to Lucidmotors again?

iOS 26, which has been the same the whole time I’ve had the car.

I just tried logging out, deleting the app, and reinstalling as well as an infotainment reboot and none of those things were sufficient to get it out of the Offline state.
