I would immediately sell my car. Same goes for any kind of advertising. My car is my sanctuary away from all that BS.

Not yet, as we both drive both cars and still only have one fob for each.

Update: These cleared after a sleep, but...

later, the Dream Drive Limited alarm came back (not the one on the left side of the clearview cockpit that clears out quickly, but the yellow/orange triangle on the right side of the screen, and also comes up when you hit the "Bell" icon on the right) and now I also have the headlight alarm there, too.

We'll see what I get when I drive home later.

Yeah they do pay attention and care about trying to identify issues and solve them quickly. I had a similar thing happen to me with the turn signal camera, pretty much stayed on no matter the speed I was driving, and didn’t quit until I pulled over and rebooted the car. No other cameras worked. This only happened once but I believe was on 3.3.5.

That happens to me almost every time I charge at work on Chargepoint L2. Ironically it doesn’t happen to me on home Chargepoint Flex. They’re all false alerts.
 
We drove one of our Gravities to pick up the other Gravity today from a 2-week stint in the PPF shop. In the two weeks it was in the shop, we had no problems with music pausing repeatedly in the other Gravity or our Air. But on the way home with both Gravities on the road, the problem returned.

It appears that if any two of our Lucids -- Air or Gravity -- are on the road at the same time, the music will pause repeatedly in both cars. And neither of the cars are using the same music source when it happens. Usually one car is streaming Spotify while the other is streaming Tidal. But it has also happened when one car (the Air) was streaming Spotify and the other (a Gravity ) was sourcing music from a USB stick plugged into its USB-C port in the front console. (And the problem continued when I switched from USB to Tidal.)

So basically, it appears that we cannot listen to music from any source in either car when two of our Lucids are on the road at the same time.

I know some posters here have a Gravity and an Air and at least one (@Ron_Burgundy ?) has two Gravities (although one may still be pending delivery). Has anyone heard of anyone else with this problem?

When this happens, what is the distance between your two cars? Is it within a Bluetooth signal range?
My theory is that it's not about the music source at all, rather it's an issue with Bluetooth system being confused which connection is primary when it detects 2 possible selections.
I assume your phone is paired to both cars.
Even if you aren't using Bluetooth for music, the fact that infotainment system is re-connecting its Bluetooth subsystem would cause it to stop playing music.

The cars are mostly well out of Bluetooth range.

In fact, the first time this happened my partner was driving the Air home after taking me to pick up the Gravity from the initial PPF installation. I stopped at a Tesla Supercharger to try it out on the Gravity while he continued home, some miles away. I used the stop to switch from the USB to Tidal to see if that changed anything, but the problem continued.

First week or so I had almost no 'errors'. I've had dream drive limited a few times since then, one rear steer warning, and several head light ones.
 
My car is in service for the third time for the following issues:

  • There’s a clicking/popping sound from the front end when turning at low speed. Especially so when the suspension is going over a bump. It’s usually just a single click but sometimes clusters a few together. The SC is lubricating the wheel bearings per a TSB
  • My navigation goes wild 99% of the time. For example it will jump around the current area or be 90° out of phase with the direction of travel. This happened after I got the car back from the last service visit where they replaced the center console. They are thinking that the telematics unit may need to be replaced
  • I had a BRAKE WEAR light appear but then go away after a reboot
  • I had an airbag light appear but then disappear after a reboot
  • The brake hold system failed on a drive. It resolved itself after sleeping for a bit
  • The auto HVAC is essentially useless. I had the temperature set to 72° when it was 50° and about the same temperature in the cabin. On Auto the HVAC was blowing cold air at max fan speed
  • They still need to replace the strike plate on the tailgate latch as it’s rubbing and sometimes fails to open
  • The rear passenger door seemingly only opens easily when I place my hand in the part of the handle closer to the front of the car, otherwise I have to use more force than the other door handles
  • I have the booming noise at higher speeds but they have not been able to reproduce it
 
Our turn signal failure to cancel seems to be getting worse. On a drive today, if I was making a right-hand turn onto a multi-lane road the turn signal would only self-cancel if I turned into the far right lane. If I turned into the center lane, the signal would not self-cancel. It never once self-canceled when turning left. Even a full 90º turn will not cancel the signal unless it's done on a very tight radius. I have never had a car, including our Air, require such a sharp turn in order to self-cancel. This is happening on the same turns where I have driven Audis, MBs, Teslas, and Hondas with this never once happening that I can remember.

I’m curious what they say about the HVAC because I think many (all?) of us who live in colder areas have experienced it.

Could it be you both passed through a low LTE service area?

So when I bought my second Tesla in 2023, they were both on the old Tesla software and it was a shitshow trying to get my mobile key to associate to the correct Tesla, or it would load the wrong profile in the wrong car, unlock the wrong Tesla, etc, etc. When they did their big UX update it fixed most of the problems, except to this day it still will not sync audio progress from one Tesla to another if you use the profile in two different cars.

I’m having an issue getting the soft close to engage. If I swing the door closed with moderate or more force it just closes normally. It’s like it pushes past the soft close. Soft close only catches if I push the door very gently. Also, some of the doors are harder to open than others. I’ve been debating calling service because I just got the car back after a few days in for an FDU replacement and don’t want to give it up again.

Sounds like normal operation to me, similar to how Air soft close works, just gently push it till the latch catches. Medium to hard pushes make it past the soft close catch. By harder to open doors do you mean you have to pull harder on the handle for some doors than others to get it to release? I wouldn’t send it for service again, just give them a mile long list for your 10k mile service and ask for a loaner.

Yes, have to pull harder/longer on the handle. The kids have a hard time opening it because it feels so different than the other doors.
